Hey guys recently picked up some Alaska Morbloom I was talkin to the guy at my local hydro shop and asked if it would be a good addition to my organic tea. Without making my decision more educated I added the amount to my normal tea feed and started the aeration.

after doing a little digging most reports say its not organic and actually contains a lot of heavy metals from the fish along with arsenic and lead. obviously this cant be good for plants or in my organic soil.

does anyone have any first hand experience with this stuff, im all ears and wondering if I should return the product and pick up something else. if that's my route any suggestions to fill this void and help power through flowering?

my current grow is first in my sig let me know what you think about this addition to my feed.

Thanks in advance!:smokebuds:

sorry to beg haha but im in need of assistance of anyone with more experience with fish fertilizers and can point me in a better direction of organic additions

Hi McLoviin,

I use this as a supplimental, when I use it, my ppm's don't increase hardly at all. So I don't know what the criteria (this is a debatable topic) for "organic" is, but surely it is a natural.

If you eat fish, you will also get those elements in your body. I use is until about the last three weeks, just so my buds don't smell fishy. Not that that has happened, but I don't want it to happen.

I also use the grow formula.

If I put in Azomite to amend my soil, then I am adding: 00022% Arsenic, .00103% Lead, .000006% Uranium, and this product is OMRI listed

Point being, trace elements are everywhere in everything. just try to keep it simple, and I am not gonna freak out about it.

Just my two cents.

Peace

Thanks for that, took a load off my back. I guess I wasn't really thinking down the food chain its common for fish to have that.
This being my first run at organics I'm so still a newb I guess I'm growing more naturally than organically. I'll take your advise on when to stop. I mean who wants fishy buds????

Thanks Eek:smokebuds: :d5:

Your Welcome McL,

I think there will be a shake down in the "Organic" definition soon. There are too many questions about the consistancy of the arguments of what IS and what IS NOT organic.

Can't help but think that it is in some way tied to Money and Politics.

Peace,

Eek

You won't have fishy buds lol. I use the Alaskan fish emulsions clear through my grows up till a week at the end. I do lower my feeding some also. But i get bug ass fat juicy buds without the morbloom. I was looking into buying some that's how i found this thread. I am on here with grows also if you wanted to see any. So I plan on picking some up and actually using both at the same time.
