I know a lot of people have problems getting hold of high proof alcohol for making their tinctures and green dragon.
I have started to purchase 190 proof ethanol from laboratory or scientific supply companies. For around $100 I can get 5 litres of scientific grade ethanol no questions asked.
Quick and easy and pure and what you don’t use you can water it down to 100proof so it can be consumed.:drunks:

Spend the $250 and get a counter top alocohol distiller then u can make your own organic non gmo alcohol and when u make your oils u put it back in the distiller and collect the alcohol and reuse. And the oil is left in the machine. Still needs to be placed on low heat to evaporate whatever’s left over. Save a lot of money over time. If u evaporate the alcohol every time that can get expensive.

I used to run a still for my own needs but with a busy life it was time consuming and if you put a $ value on your time for me I found it was easier just to purchase the ethanol. Don’t get me wrong I enjoyed the production process but time is money. If I had the time and space I would definitely run a still again. Vertical integration FTW.
For the average grower/ processer buying scientific grade ethanol wins hands down.

The local sugar refinery also supply 20L drums of ethanol, without any alcohol tax. They wouldn't even sell me a litre, simply not allowed to. BUT they would give me a free 1L sample. Which I used and evaporated away to make some premium honey oil, by adding a couple of tablespoons of powered activated charcoal and filtering before evaporating.
