Extraction Alcohol Free Medical Cannabis Tincture

Thank you hereb4. You are the teacher for sure.

just for an experiment try placing 1 large dry bud (62-65%) in a jar of room temp glycerine with 2 heaping tablespoons of soy lecithin mixed in.....be sure the bud is completely covered by liquid......tightly close the jar and put it in a dark closet for 1 month....
after 1 month...remove jar...uncover...and place in a 185 degree f oven...for 1 hour.....remove...let cool.... doseage is 1/4 teaspoon placed under the tongue and held until absorbed ....try not to swallow....let it absorb through the tissues of the mouth....
wait at least 1 hour before taking more...if needed....this stuff can be sneaky strong....depending on the strain used......refrigerate and it keeps for 6 months...
enjoy!!

One could possibly use a motorized rock tumbler to agitate the mixture to shorten the soaking time, perhaps? :2cents:

I'm no chemist but keep in mind that glycerine should always be USP food grade. Found at hobby lobby, some pharmacies and health and beauty stores for skin lotion. USP propylene glycol is very similar(thinnner viscosity and less sweet). BOTH WILL MAKE YOU THIRSTY THIRSTY. Added cotton mouth(just and fyi) I have used both for 4 years in my electronic cigarettes. I'm not sure if the cooking recipe should be differed when using propylene glycol. I'll leave that up to someone else

Ya know I would think that it could be heated in a immersion type cooker in food saver bags. Like sous-vide. Hmmmmm all these ideas has me inspired to get back in the kitchen.

My vegetable glycerine came in Tuesday and I've been testing it all week. I fount the original recipe a bit to strong for me. I've only been using MMJ for 12-14 months and I don't have a strong constitution built up like most in here do. It does not knock me on my ass instead gives me a really nice functional feeling. Great pain relief. It is very sweet and we added a mint extract and it made it much more palatable. I'm very pleased with the effect from it:thumbs:
