New Grower All Advice Needed - First Auto Grow Setup

The MarsHydro 300 old style 3x100 white will veg a 3x3 area and flower a 2x2 area, is what I was told by MarsHydro. I have one, love it, I run it in a 2x4 tent. Ive had great results with the one, and just ordered another off ebay that is going to round out my tent in a big way. For your first grow, the old style marshydro is a good starter light, inexpensive too if you can find one. MarsHydro does not sell them anymore, so used is the only option. They do have a MarsII 300 with 5 watt chips, but actual draw is like 130 compared to 180 with the old style. Have to run the 5W a little higher too if height is an issue. Good luck.

Ordered an old model Mars hydro 300w with 5w and actual draw of 130w, I couldnt seem to find any 3w models.
Does the 5w offer deeper penetration ? Might be changing to the secret Hardin dark street ds60 grow tent (60x60x150).
How do you think this will go? Then planning on purchasing another 300w led to top it off. Also planning to scrog my autos, do most of autos grow several branches quickly ?
