Hey you lot.

I thought I'd do one of these as I have some time on my hands and I'd like to touch base with the community as I have just joined.

Ive just started my first grow journal over here so check it out if you've got a minute:

I am both new to this site and new to growing although I've been looking into growing for many months now.

On the forum I linked above I'm using some of the seeds I'd ordered with intent to plant outside this past summer but I left it too late to plant them.

Therefore I am doing small indoor grows until next summer comes around.

Welcome to AFN. Fill you pot to the top with soil. Get a ph reader will help lots.cal mag grow and bloom nutes and you should be good. Good luck!

Cheers I'll buy one if they're not too expensive.

About the soil to the top advice.. are you saying this in general or have you looked at the thread I linked? Because I don't know if it's too late now to fill it up or if I wait till its sprouted enough and then fill it up more? I left some room thinking you were supposed to so you could add fertilisers without a problem.

Yea after they get big enough fill the pot with soil.You will be amazed how much roots grow. Bigger roots better results. If i add things to the soil I do it before using it. If your talking about solid additives and not liquid .
