Extraction Alternatives to smoking, ideas please!

Duuuude, that is what I want to achieve!.

I have about an ounce n half of bud left it' it average or below lol.

And I have to keep the smell to an absolute minimum.

There is looaads of stuff online. Is there any chance you could step by step break your method down??

I messed up 2 small batchs by burning my bud in the decarb stage, then I did a bigger one and decarbed but the bud was my worst bud and I made canna caps from them and they dnt do much.

Dsnip, the quality of the tincture is entirely dependent on the quality of the bud. Not sure what you'll end up with using mid-grade cannabis, but here's what I did:

1. I bought an Ardent NOVA decarboxylator machine to decarb my bud. I did a lot of research on how to decarb bud using the absolute least amount of heat so as to preserve all the terpenes and flavinoids, and not to fk up the potency with too much heat (which of course degrades the cannabinoids). So I absolutely love this machine, and I decarbed 6 different strains from my last harvest. I decarbed them fresh, and they are in jars with Bovedas.

2. I took the decarbed trim from 8 strains and decarbed it, gently packed it into the two 32 oz jars (no grinding up of anything: trying to preserve the integrity of the bud and the trichomes as much as I can), covered it with Everclear 190 until there was a little alcohol above all the trim, and stuck it in the freezer. I took it out twice a day and shook it good.

3. After 8 days, I strained it through two nut milk bags (one inside the other) into a bowl, then transferred into 1 oz amber dropper bottles. It's all being kept in the freezer, where it will last indefinitely.

Also made two other tinctures the same way; all three of them are nice and strong. I hope you get something that gives a better buzz: the tincture is SURE TO BE MUCH STRONGER than the smoke, that's for sure.

Whatever edible you make with that herb, you should decarb it first, and 240 F for 40 min using a verifying thermometer is good.
Ardent Lift/Nova is even better.
After that, grind the decarbed herb to powder, then you can do several different thing, listed easiest first.
(1) Mix into nut butter or nutell, and use.
(2) Mix into the oil of any box mix, bake, and use.
(3) Make alcohol tincture. For medicinal use there is no need for cold materials, and some of us soak at room temp or above for several hours, days, or weeks. I just finished a 24 hour soak using a hot plate with magnetic stirrer. Cold won't pick up as much non-cannabinoids, but some of us believe the whole plant is healthy, and want those non-cannabinoids.

I do all of these things, and believe them to be roughly equivalent in potency when made from the same amount of original herb.

Yeah I think my oven isn' very stable on the temps and that' whathas made my canna caps pretty weak/useless.

Is like to use the ways you guys are doin it but I think it would smell too much for me, I'm in the UK ye see and yea were behind in the Times over here lol

Do u decarb in a covered dish? I do 245 for 29 minutes.

Nah just on an oven tray with foil underneath?
I did about the same time at around 100 Celsius

I used a covered dish. I got that from someone here and it works much better for me. Too much time can degrade the thc also.

I always cover the cannabis with aluminum foil (shiny side down) and if worried about smell, it can be enclosed in a turkey bag.

You need to find out where you oven is on temps. and then you can adjust. Lower temps more time, higher temperatures for less time.
