New Grower amazing seed you gotta see!!!

I'm confused :)

and we all know it doesnt take much! lol

But... if we put a fan on our seedlings - we're effectively providing them with a bit of stress - moving them around. In turn the little one gets a nice strong stalk and grows nicely for us.

So.... by that logic (if you can call it that) - wouldn't turning them have a similar effect - keeping them mobile while finding the best position for light AND also getting an even amount of light to all the bud sites / foliage?

I don't turn my pots because i'm lazy and space is tight and i've got my pots arranged how i want them - but i think i can see a benefit!
I dunno - it's confusing!! ^_^

movement and directional change are completely different

check plant biology and horticultural growing guides etc , its been professionally proven and documented

like i said , its not actual harm , but i like my plants giving their all towards growing not adjusting to change

Blue, I could see it having that effect during the early stages, say first 2 weeks. But once she has her foundation, I would agree with bob and let her energy go into getting bigger as opposed to resetting herself. On the flip side, hard to argue with Mr.Ganjamotos results. Whether or not the strain is supposed to be a beast, his are extra beastly. Different strokes for different Folks.

It can't be that common. I have never seen it before or any one I work with at the hydro store. And there is over 100 years of grow experience. Is it common in autos?

Its still throwing off 3 leaf sets

google it, its quite common , ive had 2 in less then a year (different strains) and seen people grow threads all over the net with them quite often

dunno how common it is in autos , had a haze auto from dinafem do it but grew out half way through , that makes 3 in less then 2 years , 2 of which grew out of it

Were those all autos? It had two tap roots come out of her. I just didn't think anything about it. Is that how you tell its going to throw of 3 leafs?

I think we're getting off topic here.. Savage, leaf mutations like this are quite common with autos. I have no experience with photos and only a few auto grows but already I've had 3 mutations. I don't think this means in any way you will necessarily yield more, but there is nothing to back that up with. You could do a side by side comparison of the same strain? Would be beneficial for us all. I would treat her as normal and have the same intentions as with any plant - try and push her to the max. Like stated there will be no way to prove if the mutation added extra yield without a side by side comparison but either way I hope she turns out to be a stunner for you. :peace:

I am with bob on this!!! I dont rotate anything potted in my summer garden or the inside garden!!! Not only because I want my plants to focus on their growth, but because I too am a lazy bastard!!! I too have had autos and photos do it.

only one was auto but ive been breeding autos longer then growing them as to supply medical growers with seeds , im sure if id been growing more of them id of seen more trifoliate plants from autos like i have over the decades with photo plants , ive got twins before but dont think 2 tap roots have ever given me a trifoliate plant , thats not the true name but what people commonly call them
