Lighting Amazon possibilities?!?!

I’m happy to make it work for you. Nothing better than seeing happy AutoCob owners. Something I haven’t pushed much is how flexible I am. Think a lot know this already but if anyone needs anything at all, whether it’s listed on the site or not I’ll do my best to make it happen. I do apologize for not getting on amazon sooner but as I mentioned things have been rather crazy for me lately. One thing I can be very proud of is that every cob, screw installed whatever it is even down to printing the labels and boxing the lights is done by me. I do my best with the time I have to get everything done right while trying to spend time here with the people who make cobshop what it is. I know for some it doesn’t matter much but hopefully some of you guys appreciate it.

I am more than grateful for every thing you have done for us. I'm sure others are as well.

@BigSm0

You just going for amazon.com and the US? How about Canada too? If you're filling out paperwork etc you might want to get your product out to Canada and other countries too via Amazon.
It's all about the shipping bro. You can ship something from 1 side of the country to the other cheap, but as soon as it crosses a international boarder even if its closer shipping skyrockets bud. I know how it can be stupid I worked in an international shipping department for almost a decade. We could drive to Canada in less than a 1/2 work day, but it was cheaper to overnight across the country than to send to Canada. It makes no sense and it was a daily pain in the brain thats for sure. Im sure he will send it but you may not want to pay for the shipping. See if you can find some folks near by that want them too. The more he sells in 1 order the better shipping will be. That could put the price point at a much more reasonable spot. By the way I work on commission so please help me with my seed collection fund lol.

USPS just raised the rates too. 66.50 to ship a small box up to 72. Bastards. I just got power back so I am back on amazon. Hopefully I can work something out. They wanted an 82 dollar referral fee just to sell the 4 pack. Any amazon sellers input would be great.
I regularly take a loss on international orders just to get the cobs out there but if amazon wants nearly 20% to sell lights I’d be taking to much of a loss it wouldn’t work. Don’t understand how they can regularly sell things for less than retail stores either. Bigger margins than I run in I guess.

So you say you're back on Amazon but you are unsure if it will work or not. Does this mean I can order lights or not sure yet?

@Madness this is what you do. Get your # of cobs you want to buy, get it all priced out with shipping. Subtract that plus like $50-$100. Use your Amazon card up, with your cob money plus little extra still left. Find 1 of the gift card exchange kiosk and they will buy the Amazon card from you. Now they won't give you full value, that's why I said leave 50-100. The less you have on the card, the less they charge I believe so that's why you should use what you do want to save for cobs. It prints a receipt you take the customer service and they give you cash. The grocery stores have them here thats where I sell ones 1 don't want. If they charge you less than the 50-100 then you will just get little more in cash. Here is a link to find 1 near you. Wal-Mart, Target, places like have sold a few for my garden lol.

Interesting thought. But if I'm going to pay an extra 50-100$ and he already plans on putting them on Amazon why wouldn't I just wait for him to put them on Amazon instead of going out of my way to go find these places?

Either way it'll be more expensive whether he puts them on Amazon or I go buy a gift card so even if he only put them on Amazon for me to buy and then took them down it would be more convenient for me so I didn't have to go do these extra steps.

If it comes to that I'll do it but he said he would throw them up so we shall see

Edit:

I did look at the options and the only ones in my area are 45min to 1hr away from me. That's why it would be more convenient to just pay on Amazon even if it was pricier than originally from cobshop.net

I haven’t listed them yet. At the latest it will be tomorrow night. To make it work the price will be slightly higher instead of a lot higher. I am also waiting on a reply from the website company for the addition of bitcoin payments as well. Things have been slower than expected due to the power loss over the weekend and running out of stock.
