with colorado, washington and mre states coming to legalization, has anyone thought of creating an american based seedbank? That way alots of people here in the usa wouldn't have to worry about overseas shipping and the possiblity that customs will snatch seed? Just a thought would love to start one but my state is still on the legal waiting list. And as long as you conduct the site in a well manner it could be really popular because there's is nothing here like it yet. And I don't think I'm the only one that would be happy with 2-3 day shipping.

Yep, seeds are still illegal at the federal level. Too much risk to start a seed bank at this point. Remember Marc Emery? They put him in jail for selling seeds into the US from Canada.

There are a few seedbanks in CA. But at this time, they only sell to MMJ patients IN California.

Thanks guys. I found a little info on the matter doing some searchs on the web. Well I'm not complaining about shipping or anything I'm glad its even possible just had a thought when I was looking at seedbanks last night. Well can't wait to see who will be the first to go legit nation wide.
