Man that was lucky for sure glad to hear it was easy to find and replace and no matter how old they are if they work then they work lolSo a quick update last night one of my ballasts blew. Womp womp. That’s what you get when you buy cheaply made gear. But I had a bit of good luck. The local grow shop that is usually very expensive had an old school thousand watt ballast so I went in there and paid the lady the $137. At which point she said and I’m going to give you this one, she said I don’t know how I ended up with this thing if it was a warrantee repair or what but I am tired of looking at it you can have it I don’t know if it works but if not you can use it for parts. So I got two lights for $63.50 apiece. Now when I say old-school these are probably 15 year old technology, but they work great for my purposes because they are like miniature heaters!!!!! And these things are sturdy as hell I do know that so now I’ve got the back up that I was using and installed these two both were in the bag brand new awesome sauceView attachment 1235191
HELL yeah they work. Added the perfect amount of heat. Was able to maintain a high of 90.1 and a low of 84.9 with 1000-1100 ppm cO2Man that was lucky for sure glad to hear it was easy to find and replace and no matter how old they are if they work then they work lol
