So I have been looking at inline fans and came across these folks. They look comparable and maybe even a little better than AC infinity. I am lookin at the 12”(it doesn’t come out til dec) and at a projected price point of $299 and 1700cfm I am pretty sure this is the fan that’ll Be in the LAG©

I have lol. They are quite nice, fair price point but you lose the speed control based on temperature and humidity

You lose 100cfm compared to AC infinity but I can't say how justified the extra $100 is.

Exactly how well do the AC Infinity fans regulate the temp and humidity of your grow tent? Is it something you have to still tweak in the same plant life cycle. Most of us grow in our homes. How much of an impact is it on heating and air?

Metal case, ability to choose your own controller (wired, wireless, thermostat or your own hardware supporting PWM or 0-10V standards), way better energy efficiency especially for larger 8" and 10" modes, ETL certification if you're a commercial client.

lol I just saw the ac is 399 so @damien50 yiu were right. So yeah I don’t know I will have to drill down and see if I’m fact the Extra 100 is justified

I use a 4” in my small tent and a 6” in my bigger tent. They work well.

That sounds superior for your needs man. The AC Infinity at 10" is 250w max while the TB hits 150w but I can't tell if that is a maximum or average based on the data sheets.

I compared the smaller units and the difference was less significant but the db ratings were higher on the TB - we aren't talking grow tents but loud fans are annoying still. This time ACI didn't specify the minimum or maximum.

A lot more versatility for the LAGs in comparison with the ACI units. Compared the sizes as well for fun, they make small high velocity fans compared to ACI. I'm curious now, going to hunt for controllers.

I like them both in their own ways lol. I like the Terrabloom in price/size/power/certifications but I think the sound issue could be reduced just throwing a muffler on. I vote Terrabloom for 2021 LAGs!

I think it all depends on how you choose to use the fan. I control the temperature/humidity of the whole room rather than just the tents so it's vanity for me to get the AC infinity plus they are quieter.

For someone that puts heaters, humidifiers, etc in their tents it would prove more beneficial because of the probes. The fan regulates speed based on set parameters so you aren't exhausting all your built to humidity or heat too quickly or if you need it done quickly then that's an option too.

The 4 inch I was able to test was as good as what I could do with InkBird controllers but it is more efficient for me to control outside temp/humidity - 72f/50-60% RH - than wasting money to control a tiny space that has its air replaced frequently. It seems backwards, it goes into your bedroom and then back into your tent to some degree - might as well let the intake air be in constant range with grow lights adding the extra heat.
