Hello everyone! I am Anubis.

I am a fledgling seed-bank owner. So fledgling that my website isn't even live yet, so fledgling that I don't actually have any stock yet! So fledgling that only me and the misses know that it exists (or will!).

This is my second account here (so not just here to self promote, here because I enjoy the community), and I intend to become a trusted AFN vendor within a year! I'm also hoping to get to know some of the artisan breeders & seed producers and hopefully provide a platform for them to sell, and profit from, the work they do & love, whilst also becoming a feedback stream helping them to improve their produce.

Big plans! Big, gradual plans! But starting small. Very small.

I see your wanting to open a seed bank and chat about it on the forums.
Could I ask you to read through the site Terms Of Use (TOU) there is a link in my signature.
I'll post the sections that is pertinent to this thread.

4. Permitted and Prohibited Use


B) No trading/begging of any kind on the public forums.

That means no seeds, no pollen, no clones, no equipment.

There is to be no seed giving or any type distribution on site by members.

Seed giveaways are only allowed from our AFN vendors and with prior approval of our administrators.


11. AFN Advertising and Promotional Policy

No promotion of auctions, contests, coupons, websites, products, marketing campaigns or related activities will be allowed without prior approval by www.autoflower.net staff. This includes posts, links, signatures, usernames, avatars, profile entries, and any other publicly viewable information on www.autoflower.net.

All non-sponsors who wish to post content of this nature should contact a site admin or moderator.

Any unapproved content that is deemed by the staff to be promotional in nature is subject to removal without warning, and may result in a suspension of your posting privileges.

I would suggest contacting @Son of Hobbes as he is one of the most senior Admins.
Could you do this before posting anything further on this subject to avoid any further breaches of the TOU.

It sounds like a great idea you have & getting together with the Site Admin is the way forwards here, I wish you all the best.

Thanks arty zan. Funnily enough I saw the site terms link in your signature the other day and had a read through them. I will contact Son of Hobbes now, thanks for your help and advice so far, I will take it on board.
