Hi, im new to the forum. I have been studying autos over the last few weeks and am going to purchase some seeds. Im thinking demon seeds, what are your thoughts? Im thinking ak-48 and narcotic kush autos. When would be a good time to plent them in aus? Where i am it will be about 27-30 degrees over about then next 5-6 weeks. Is this fine to grow in? I'll be doing a stealth grow in big pots, thinking some soil-less mix and some perelite? Any help much appreciated, im just growing it for perso because weed is my favourite.

Welcome to the forum.I see you have done some homework so this is good. Those two strains sound great. If your planting outside its best to start them inside first .Autos average around sixty to eighty days to finish ,so if your weather is warm for that long you should be ok.:smokebuds:

I dabble now and then....Qld weather should be fine for auto's IMO ....the only thing to be aware of is humidity and mold....27*C-30*C is a doable temp to grow in...

Mold will be an issue during late budding phase I guess for where you are. However you are going into the dry season, so it should be OK. What are your night temps over the next two months? By late May, do the night temps go down to 15 degrees celsius?

keeping the rootball warm will help it manage lower temps....if growing outside, one can stack bricks around the pot to radiate heat during the night...

Thanks heaps guys. Bricks sound like a good idea. Both strains i have chosen reckon they have good mould and pest resistance. It will get pretty cold in abou 8 weeks temps down to about 15-19 degrees over night. What i was thinking though is that the next two to three weeks will be good for a bit of veg and them to start flowering then the tenps will start to drop and outdoor light cycle will be around the 12-12 mark.

we are lucky in qld the temps are great for growing most of the year, though a little to hot and humid during the summer, but spring, autum and winter are all great.

and when our next summer comes around just grow strains that are good in heat and humidity, some trains actually strive on it

So update on the seeds, went ahead and purchased some sweet skunk auto, creme mandarin auto and northern lights auto. Wish me luck :)
