DIY Any other options for odor control?

Ona block, gel, liquid can be placed at the exit of the ducting, linen is just one of the flavours
:pighug:

thats what I use..Good stuff. Although my filter is in the attic, and does an excellent job. I have a few jars around the house just to keep things smelling fresh...The Ona linen concentrate is mixed with some water, deepening how strong you want it. Then I use water retention crystals in a decorative jar...per the wife ..pour the Ona mix , let it expand. and recharge as needed.

I've done one grow in a large closet setup that I threw together. The results were great. But of course the smell was so strong through the domicile that I'm hesitant to grow in it again. I could get a small tent to contain the smell. But wouldn't I still need a whole filtration system, charcoal filters, a space to filter the air outside??
By problem is that if I run a filter/duct or whatever out a window, it won't be stealthy at all.
Something like this
Amazon product ASIN B0085UZWRIallows for exhausting thru a window.
This fits my basement sliding window well, and looks from the outside to be a diy laundry dryer vent.

If all else fails get that sewer smell remover gel Ono , I think. Keep a jar of fresh linen on hand , they will think you opened a laundry in the locked room lol

Sent from my comfy chair.

Salutations,

I'm surprized in-line ozonation by UVB light wasn't mentioned. :2cents:

Good day, have fun!! :peace:

I use arm n hammer baking soada inside my grow like a fridgerator i also use fresh linnon scented damp rid bags outside of my box which i got at menards for 1$ appeace its working pretty good for my closet grow both trap n lock odor n moisture my grow is small though only 6 medium size plants.

Ive found Ozone generators to generate more of a "whats that smell?" question then they are worth. They do the job of destroying the odor of this plant but they are "dangerous" if run constantly as well as the peculiar smell they have of there own.

Back when I exhausted out my window, I used a kind of goose neck piece (end of ducting) that I mounted just below the window that blew up and out. I cut plexiglass the width of the goose neck raised to the height needed to blow out unencumbered. It blew through the levelors without a problem and was quite stealthy. I've had my fan/inline filter outside my tent for long while. You merely need a window to crack open to accommodate that setup.

,

So to be clear, your filter goes out of you tent of course, but not outdoors? If so, has it been effective for you in terms of low odor?
Thanks!

can you modify an old ass window AC unit gut it and run your exhaust through there as long as the part visable to the outside world looks legit doesnt matter whats inside
