Lighting Any T5 upgrade bulbs?

I'm running two Sun Blaze 2' x 4 bulb T5HO fixtures.

Are there any bulbs that are better than the bulbs that came with these? Just wondering.
Also...
They are vegging now. What bulb is recommended, if any, to switch to during flower production?

This is where I get my bulbs as they are one of my local shops.
Your going to be a bit more limited being 2'.
There is more selection on 4' bulbs.
I personally run the 6400k all the way though their life.

I've read about others not switching bulbs and going with the 6400 or 6500 bulbs for the entire grow. I was thinking about replacing half of them with 3000's for flowering. Not sure yet. Any advantage to that?

I've heard the same as SHRED for using 6500K for the whole grow. I have 2900K bulbs, which I assumed I'd use for flowering. What advantage is there to not adding in the 2900K?

Dont know of any advantages to using 6500k the entire grow? Maybe something to google?.... I do however know that during flowering 2700k light is more benificial than 6500. Not that 6500 wont produce bud bc it will just maybe not quite as effective as 2700 so for this reason.... I change my bulbs as the plant progresses and once ALL verticle growth has stopped I run all 2700k.

I also run bloom cycle lamps the entire grow. Most important thing when running T5HO is to make sure you are getting at least 5000 lumens PER bulb. Check the specs... Best of luck.
