What to use in place of soil and nutrients for autoflowers down under?

What can I get from Bunnings or BigW or elsewhere where I can do a soil grow? Also what kind of nutrients are comparable to stuff in the States or EU?

Hey Smeghead - I'm about to wrap up a stealth patio grow of 2 x Dinafem Critical +2.0 plants I started in early December. I had really good luck with the slightly acidic Debco Gardenia/Azalea mix found at Flower Power - My mix was about 40% Soil Mix, 30% Cane Mulch and 30% Pearlite. During the veg stage I used Bio:Juice Grow and Maxicrop Seaweed - then during flower/ budding I switched over to Bio:Juice Flower whilst keeping the Seaweed and adding 1tbl of Blackstrap Molasses to every 3 litres of water. All of this gear is found easily in AU.

Sorry to dig up an old thread but this helps. I will have some beans soon and in a North facing direction on the east coast. Will have to check suppliers. Cheers!
