Mephisto Genetics Anyone got any Mephisto criticism?

Hello folks..has anyone got any fair criticism of Mephisto?
I have found their germ rate poor and a fair phew seedlings to be freaky..l am no expert but no cheerleader either...anyone?

I have also found some problems with mephisto.
I attribute them to mephisto becoming too popular too fast.

My last, freshest seeds were Gold Glue, and neither survived.
Right now I have 3 mephistos, and 2 non-mephistos.
Both non-mephistos are thriving.
A mephisto ToofDecay was mutant from the start, and will yield less than an ounce.
A mephisto Fantasmo Express is exhibiting some leaf symptoms I've never seen before.
A mephisto Double Grape is thriving.

I've found mephisto genetics to be a bit less hardy than other brands, but some of the most potent herb I've tried, and I'll continue using them.

Mate..me too-lve grown some lovely smoke from M(rog esp)but l thought my current grow was headin south n germed 8 pips..4 sour hound 4 sodk(l freaked losin 4 plants afte4r 6 wk)..3 popped n 1 is a mutant(no 1st leaves),l am no newbie and l could list all my beef wth em...multiple freebies mean phuck all if they dont germ or turn out freaky...

I haven't had much issues with them, but I think the mutant babies are fairly common. A good amount of the time they just grow out without issue.

Other than that the price model kinda forces you to take on more seeds than you might need so that $ per seed is reasonable, but it's stillnot the worst.

"Its still not the worst" isnt enough..l have a fair few Mephisto seeds n like l said cheap or not..poor germ-dodgy genes blah blah..on afn you would think they invented the wheel...a bit of balance cos if l had never been here before l would think Mephisto had it sewn up..n once yoov dropped yer money.......

My advice would be to contact them and share your concerns and see if they can help .

I go through phases of bad germ rates it's allways hard to accept its my fault but in most cases it is :woohoo1:

Very interesting that you joined yesterday, and one of your first posts is "anybody got any Mephisto criticism".

Really, your first post on a Mephisto sub-forum is asking others for criticism?

Doesn't sound like you're here for the long haul. Rather then buy seeds from Mphisto where you only look for the neagtives, why not spend your dollars on some of the other autobreeders gear? I am sure everything they do is perfect.

Good Luck!

Do you have any documentation of the failed germination/seeds? Or have you reached out to Mitch and the crew with any of your issues (to see if they can rectify or at least take note?) They've been on the forum here for years (with plenty of success and criticisms posted by growers here; seldom is anyone bashful about a bad experience,) and a lot of their customer service work is done through here as well.
