I noticed another grower in the Infirmary was having some of the same problems I'm having; I ordered Botanicare bricks but the online Amazon store sent me Cyco instead. I've found it to be out of the correct pH range for my plants, despite following identical nutrient protocols as previous grows.

I wanted to start a thread to see if anyone else might be experiencing this, just to see if it's product-wide or maybe limited to the batch I got.

I just started my first grow about 30 days ago now with it. So far no problems. First thing I did was test the ppm of the run off of the soil and there seem to be no salts. It says it's pre buffered but only mentions for PH and no mention of cal/mag. So I gave it a quick rinse of 1/2 tsp per gal cal/mag before planting my seed. Are you treating this like a soil/peat grow or like Coco ?

The only problem I have so far with the product is it has small holes in the top of the bag for aeration. I usually stay away from any product that isn't sealed. Last thing I would want is for any sort of chance for bugs to get in my soil. No bugs from this bag thankfully.

ahh yea my bad.. I read it too quickly as " I found it to be the corret ph range".. I would probably still ask however what pH are you feeding.. Any way good luck brotha !

I use drops for pH. I've owned four pens and used three brands of calibration fluid and never gotten close to an accurate reading. Chemicals are always right, and the window of pH for cannabis is wide enough that little margins of error are actually good as it makes the full spectrum available to the roots.
