I've seen a few people complain that boveda 62's have drawn the smell from their buds. Has anyone experienced anything like this?

I will be burping for a week and then add the boveda packs when I get around 62% HR

I use them and had no problem :pass:

I have heard this, as well. I use them with no ill effect. I do, however, only use them when jars are very close to 62%.

There is a long thread about this topic somewhere, you may want to search for it. I use Bovedas in all of my jars with no loss of smell. The ingredient in them is simply some form of salt.

Yes I read the whole thread last night. I'm glad to here you haven't lost any wonderful smells. I'll be lowering my HR to around 62% before they packs go in

My last harvest went into the jars a little too moist and they never got rid of that green smell with the boveda 62's, even after removing the buds and drying a bit more.

Mine had kind of a grassy smell again, but I attribute that to letting the stuff dry too fast and then reintroducing moisture back into the buds. Within a couple weeks the boveda packs were almost flat and hard lol. But I continued burping the jar...till I smoked it all a week later lol.
My suggestion, get the drying and curing down and see what happens.
(Not dogging anyone at all! I'm still learning and thought it might help.) Good luck though!!!
