Harvest & Curing Anyone had bad experiences with boveda packs?

a lot of this was covered in this thread I asked essentially the same question and the only bad thing that I can recall is if its like wet wet it'll possibly pop open.TaNg said he had that happen a time er so. LOL shitty deal but they are excellent and totally should be in everyones growing trimming space :D

I think they do absorb the smell a little the first few days but then the packs start to release the smell back. I have a couple bovedas stored with a lemon strain and when I put them in other jars I'll still get a hint of that lemon smell.

Mine had kind of a grassy smell again, but I attribute that to letting the stuff dry too fast and then reintroducing moisture back into the buds. Within a couple weeks the boveda packs were almost flat and hard lol. But I continued burping the jar...till I smoked it all a week later lol.
My suggestion, get the drying and curing down and see what happens.
(Not dogging anyone at all! I'm still learning and thought it might help.) Good luck though!!!

When the packs are flat and hard it is because they are full of moisture. If your bovedas went dry that fast, your buds must have a LOT of moisture still in them.

No they were zapped. Very little left in them and what was, wasn't a liquid anymore. My stuff was left in the bags for too long and was dried out way past the point they should if been. But thanks though.

They do absorb smell. I dont think it really is released much it just gets weirded out some. goes odd after some time too.

i try to air mine out actually for a half day here n there. even the same strain after a time sitting in that empty jar still smell odd and usually not killer anymore LOL

Sorry, but they work the opposite way. When they are flat and hard it is because they have released all their moisture. Which is the reason they go dry if left out in a low humidity environment.
