congrats on your weight loss bro.
I watch what i eat, in highscool and college i was ripped always in the gym, started partying and the gym fell to the way side. Now 32 i am getting back into it. I have lost 45lbs so far. Portion control is the hardest for me. I hit the gym up 5 days a week on average. Every 2 months i change my workout up, right now i am on a 12,10,8,6 method and i break it up into chest and tricepts, back and biceps, then leggs and shoulders with forearms. My max bench right now is 345lbs back in college my max bench was 425lbs. I am 6 foot 265lbs.

Its alot harder to take it off then it is to put it on.

Every night i make my drink, its really good if you want to try it
Cup and half of almond milk
1 table spoon of almond butter
1 table spoon of fiber
1 scoop of vanilla protein powder
1 packet of sugar free carnation instant breakfast vanilla flavor
1 bananna
Hand full of frozen strawberries
hand full of ice
Put all that in a blender and blend... amazing night time snack

Same drink i used to make in highschool and college

Mostly i eat, chicken, pork, lean steak. Throw on George foreman grill and call it good.

Lykaboss sound like s tasty drink. My diet is pretty simple, and saves lives literally. Here goes:

"If it doesn't grow or eat something that grows then don't eat it" -Growbeast

Basically saying food that grows from the earth is great for you....when thinking about eating meat, ask yourself where did the meat come from and what did it eat. If its food doesn't grow from the earth, don't eat it. So yes, bacon is bad for you :)

lykaboss...legs and shoulders same day? That is brutal. I do about 12 to 16 sets on shoulders. Legs is devastating all by itself. I do chest on Mondays...12 to 16 sets incline x 4 flat x 4 dips x 4 and fly's x 4 sets. Alternate dumbbell's and straight bar. Legs Tuesday back on Wednesday shoulders Thursday and arms Friday.

Congrats LittleT!

I'm around half your age and have been on diet two years ago. It was a very low carb/almost ketonic nutrition regimen, meaning practically no carbs of any form. High fat and protein foods were no problem(meats n'stuff, mmmm bacon!).
Of course I cheated a bit(really not much) and lost around 14 kilos(around 30 pounds) in good 3 months, from 99 to 85 kg. Belly was gone and I was very impressed, full of energy and felt younger.
Then I decided to get off the diet and slowly start to eat the same way as before.
It took me 2 full years to get back to 98kg(right now), so I think next week I'll be on a diet + gym again:)

I'm a pretty tall guy, so the weight/fat is not so visible, except my lady sometimes complains with a funny tone over my belly, I know it's for fun but I take it quite seriously...so... watch for the devil, baby!

The gym is my best option to work some muscles, got the excercises figured out well, my friend is a gym instructor(doesn't instruct me though), but I watched many vids by gym freaks to get a better idea. My fav so far(concepts only) is multiple Mister Olympia - Dorian Yates:)

Salutations...

Well done on the weight loss... You must feel so proud of yourself and feel amazingly well... I bet you're getting loads of complements... Keep up the lifestyle changes it is worth it...

I would like to point you in the direction of this website marksdailyapple it is about living a primal lifestyle... one that our genes evolved to live... a lot of Marks Sissons recommendations I'd already evolved to, came up with of my own accord... it just felt right living that way some how... anyway check it out it may take your health to a whole new level...

Mark Sisson is the author the Primal Blueprint and the Primal Connection, his recipe books are pretty good as well... though lots of recipes are available for free on his website...

I personally do bodyweight exercises... lots of press ups, full pull ups and squats and burpees and the like... keeps the muscles in trim without any real risk of damage due to excessive weight... Functional muscle...

Anyway it is heart warming to hear you have made some really positive changes and are reaping the benefits...

Toodle pip....

:tiphat:
