Just wondering how these stack up to other lights. Looking at getting another 4x4 (or 5x5) tent and will need another light. I currently have a Photontek 600W Pro, but this is the only LED I've used. So, nothing to compare it to. If I go 4x4, I've been eyeballing a Gavita 1700, Scyence Raging Kush 2.0, and Chilled X6, or another Photontek.

Thanks

:jointman: I saw the RP mate, thanks for the heads up, and no biggie... I just merged them!

Lights are a whole new ballgame these days, so much to research...fortunately you have AFN!
I picked up my first q-board last year, and I love it! Better, more even coverage vs. COB's, and improved spectrum spread... I do recommend you get more than one single unit to allow for independent height adjustments if your crop varies a lot; also to cover your ass partly at least in case of one going down for whatever reason....
Have a chat with our homie HLG Les here, he's a rep' for them but is always willing to offer objective quality advise and info!

Photontek/Lumatek are some of the best in the game.

I use Atreum bars. But they’re having stock issues right now due to Covid I guess.

Can’t ever go wrong with ChilLed either.

I’m very partial to the bar arrays now, especially if they span the entire tent width. Don’t think I could go back to anything else.

Thats exactly why I got the Phototek 600W for the 4x4. Spans the full tent so there's little to no slack anywhere. I can also run it at 75% which maximizes efficiency and extends the life of the light.

Chilled would be similar and made in the USA. Pretty sure the the Teks are made in china which i'm not a fan of...

Yes, I love the even light across the tents.

I too prefer to buy domestically. I believe ChilLed uses imported parts and assembles here, or of course you can DIY a kit from them. Someone with more knowledge about ChilLed can chime in.

Atreum does similar with the DIY kits.

Hard to get away from imported parts it seems. So I will only buy lights from someone with solid, domestic support. And has their main core/team based here. And I will not buy from anyone who's presence is mainly on Amazon. Been there, done that, no more.

I know a lot of people like HLG as well. And they are domestic.

EDIT - to add...IMHO/YMMV/ etc. etc.
