Hi all been havin some problems with excessive nitrogen, ph as been within 5.8 and 6 but still the issues from day one, also I'm in coco from canna, was using hydrotops grow and adding cal mag

I've heard some are. I've only grown one so far, it got pretty hungry in flower.
Try backing off the nutes. You also might want to show us a pic of what the plants look like.

All plants are prone to N toxicity if they are over fed. Don't forget, most Cal/Mag products have N in them as well. If you aren't calculating for it, that could be why you are seeing the N toxicity.

What a ment was more prone than photos?? Never had issues with N before until autos,, I think what started it was I've been using sensi ph perfect and recently swapped to a nutrient line that isn't ph perfect and got a bit lazy with checking, and I didn't know cal mag had N aswel thanks for the heads up

Ah, my apologies, yes generally speaking autos are more nutrient sensitive than photos. There are exceptions, of course. Most experienced growers here recommend to start very light feeds with about 25% strength and slowly work your way up.

Yeh I only started really light aswel around 1.0 I'm in coco so I fed from day 1?? That right? I'm just really struggling with them for some reason, well their alright plants but I want amazing plants!! I had my photos nailed so it's like goin back to begining of learning again! An we all know learning new things gets harder as you get older haha

lol, hey bro, you ain't telling me nothing! My experience with coco is absolutely none so honestly I don't want to lead you down the wrong path by saying something that isn't true. I am going to pm one of my buds and ask him to stop in and have a talk with you about what is going on if that is OK?

He normally gets on around 1PM AFN time so look for a response then if you don't have one earlier.

Bigc do you have a journal going right now so I can take a look? I've never really seen then go toxic from N in coco. Usually the opposite. Some say feed them in coco from day one but I'm not. I'm waiting till they have a few days above ground then I start with nothing more then Cal/mag and a mild compost tea, molasses, or light dose of general purpose liquid guano. Ppm of my first feeding are in the 150 to 200 range.
