Army of Dankness - Bruce's Budtastical Battlepalooza

Duke vs. RBF

Had to stake / trellis the Duke and prune some of the lower colas - just way too stretchy and hollow this early. Although, they seem to be beefing up as stretch ends. RBF is already starting to puff-ball.

When they get this tall, I typically LST-spiral them around the trellis and then HST and support off the stakes if need be. That way, I can still rotate / remove them from the tent if I have to.

Picked up an extra AC Infinity tent fan (but probably should've gotten four). Keeping the blown COB over the Duke for the rest of the grow.
Next grow(s), I should probably try intentionally reducing lighting / nitrogen during stretch to see if they stay shorter - I may prefer that over the extra yield. If/when I replace the light, leaning towards Migro Aray , Atreum Hydra, or HLP Rspec - but, I already blew this grow budget on side projects.

RBF is looking like a GD monster, though - diameter of main stalk is twice that of Duke.

Deadite vs. Lecter

Doing well and starting to stretch. Pics I've seen make these look tall and sparse to begin with, so I reduced N and lighting hrs a bit since my plants tend to be stretchier than most. Progress-wise, they still look like normal 90-day plants. Will be interesting to see what happens in the next month.

Duke vs. RBF

All quiet on the cannabis front - just daily rotation and training to try to keep them away from the lights. RBF could use a trim and haircut.

Will probably give them another 2 weeks or so before I switch to bloom feed (i.e., cut nitrogen).

Deadite vs. Lecter

Sawney's are starting to get fun, though. They seem to have started sexing in the middle of stretch. Or, I've been intentionally keeping lights low to limit stretch - maybe I ran right past it. Will be interesting to see what happens next grow-around if I control them better.

Other Project Updates

Wine fridge finally arrived, so time to start playing around with that. I found a way to get it to automatically upload temp / RH to a google spreadsheet. ESP32's are frickin' cool, man.

Eventually, I'll probably modify my plant scales to do the same. But, I need to buy a new 3d printer first. I should probably start graphing cash flows during my grows...

Duke vs. RBF

Clean up leaves. Rotate. Train. Feed. Repeat.

Still on veg feed. Maybe 1-2 more weeks.

Deadite vs. Lecter

Swapped lights between main and closet grows. Lecter's at ~36-in tall. Their fastness is really starting to show - they'll start getting bloom feed this week.

Forgot to update last week:

If I try to remember my general impressions from back then:

RBF vs. Duke: For the love of god, stop growing so close to the lights!

Deadite vs. Lecter: Nice buds forming, but hard to imagine they'll be ready to harvest in the next two weeks...

RBF vs. Duke

They're on bloom nutes now and will probably be just 'rotate, tie down, feed' for the next 3 weeks or so.

Deadite vs. Lecter

None of the hairs were orange last week, so thought there was no way they'd be ready ~day 60. But, they surprised me again and pistils started drying out already. May be done in a week, but I should tell myself '2 more weeks' for now. I don't scope trichomes, so I'll just be eyeballing it. May start sampling buds this week, though.

Deadite topped out around 30", Lecter just above 36". Deadite's pistils are so dense they almost look cheesy.

Duke vs. RBF

Duke and RBF keep wanting to wrassle. I come away each feeding with itchy arms and a contact high.

Duke is starting to grow upside down buds. If SpaceX ever colonizes Mars, I'll be ready to grow in zero g.

Could definitely use a heavy trim, but they're pretty much tied in place now.

Deadite vs. Lecter

Have I mentioned how much I love Deadite? Such a relief to have a nice short strong plant with no training after having to play Col. Kurtz every day with my main grows.

I've been sampling mid-buds this past week - tops could probly be harvested already. Will likely take those this weekend.

I'll cut and scope a few samples this week. May be easier than trying while still on the plant.
