Hi
i have read quite abit here and just dont seem to find the answers i am looking for

i have grown auto a few time indoors , would like to grow them out side

indoors i have been cautioned about them not wanting to be transplanted
dont like direct sow into ground , would like to cut there out door time by 2-3 weeks so want to start indoors

whats size of pot and any transplanting tips would be great

also if i was to do individual holes what size .. if in a bed whats the depth , i assume they like well tilted soil

what about feed, they will be guerrilla ,i use slow release with photos triple 12 i think it is

OK. I just did a seasons worth of autos outside and may be able to help you.Do not start them in the outside bed, rather inside in a pot that you can carry to the feild. 1 gallon works for me. Do not give them any nutes while inside. When transplanting outside, after at least 2 weeks in, I lossen the soil and place a complete (tomato feed)compost in the bottom where the roots can get later. Then I place the pot with the plant in the hole and put the soil around all sides and the bottom enough to put the top of the pot at the top of the soil. Remove the pot and you now have a hole shaped just for it. Turn it upside down, remove the root ball and carfully place it in the hole. Done right there is little to no disturbance of the roots. These will NOT grow with the vigor of photos, but will still grow well. Be carefull with the nutes, you can about cut in half what you would use on photos. The upside is soon you will have buds. Hope this helped.

thats basically how i transplant now

you didnt till or admend the soil?,no perlit, coco, peat nothing?

you said at least two weeks in side, still 1 gallon is quite large,is there any root mass to hold the soil together?

i know autos are pigs for feet room
i grow regs inside in 4in pots

i like to mix about 15% worm casting for seedling , mild and ready to eat when they are ready

which reminds me

what did the potato chip say to the battery?
