Now, I don't know about you, but I want some bigger plants!
Let's see how much work I can get done on this room so I can set up my GrowLab 120 (4' x 4' x 6.5'). I've got a 600 Watt adjustable Quantum ballast, 600 Watt Digilux HPS bulb (box says 95,000 lumens) & a Radiant hood, with a 6 inch 400 cfm fan. I think that should be able to grow some decent size ladies, and I have some 3 gallon pots & 5 gallon buckets. I've grown some nice 3-4 foot photos in there before.
Here's what it looked like the first time I used it:
400 Watt HPS cool-tube with 4" fan
And then I upgraded to 600 Watt adjustable with the square Radiant hood:
The 2 plants in the back are OG Kush, and the 2 plants in front are my own Sweet Jane X NorthernLightsxHaze crosses.
The 4" fan couldn't quite keep it as cool as I'd like in summer, but I was still able to grow the above buds in 85 degree days, with a few days with highs near 90. and I think I got around 12 ounces from the final harvest of those 4 plants in the above pic, not counting all the trim I made into bubble hash.
Just need to get some more soil, come on tax returns!
I'll have a decent amount of used organic soil to mix in from these last grows, but I need to restock on worm castings, perlite, & dry additives. My compost isn't quite ready for indoor use yet, the winter has really slowed the breakdown process. It's ok for amending my outdoor plants, but still a bit chunky for container plants.
... although, I did just realize that I need to have a 6" compatible air filter at the top of the tent for optimum air flow. & the 6" filters I have are pretty heavy! I may have to devise a new way to support the weight, hmmm...
