New Grower Auto Berry Ryder questions!

Wow. Can't believe how big they are. I have one going and she showed pistols about 4 days ago. How do they take to topping or FIM? seems that lots of people end up with different sizes plants.

Thanks Hank! As for topping or FIM I didn't try anything like that on these plants. Think I read somewhere that autos don't take well to that but I'm a complete newbie so I'd ask around.

From what I have seen people say that. In this thread here

he LST and the plant seemed to do well. Not real tall and good looking fruit.
Im thinking that depending on the type of growing conditions and small genetic differences the plants will react different.

Berry ryders won't take a topping or any damage .....they will stop right in there tracts from topping .....
Been there dun that !!!!...
Lst on the other hand does wonders for them ...
And alot of food too lol

Plant branches seem to be drooping somewhat. Also noticed some yellowing on lower fan leaves. Checked around and looks like a nitrogen/ph problem. Doing my best to keep the ph straight but with no resevoir yet it is a loosing battle with so little water. Plant might have to come down a bit early. Trichs are getting cloudy so it shouldn't be long anyway.

At 71 days i had nice blueberry taste with just 7 days drying! When i open the jar the smell is tasty as well!I am gonna let 2oz cure for 30 days then see the taste and effects are. Very relaxing with body melting effects with early smoking samples!Perfect for medicinal purpose!!

Decided the plant will be coming down here in the next few days. Read the yellowing is the nitrogen getting used up in the final phase of flowering. Trics are clouding up and that is where I want the buzz. Didn't get blue color at all, at least not yet. Maybe the cure will do that. Will shoot some pictures of the cut product soon. Other plants are waiting to take their spot under the LED's :)

From my reading the blue/purple comes from lower night time temps.

I'm glad I held off chopping because some of the sugar leaves up top are starting to turn an interesting blue color along the edges! Decided to give it another week or so now to see where this color change goes depending on trichrome development. Right now I'm mostly cloudy and that is about where I want the buzz so I don't wanna give it too much longer. A tester bud I pulled off the other day was freaking GREAT!. Buzz smeemed to smack you in the face and put one hell of a smile on it. Very heady. The after taste of berry was strong. Can't wait for this stuff to finish up and get all cured.

Good to hear! If it is heady you can probaly let her go for a week with no problems!
