New Grower Auto Blue Cheese First Grow

'High' there bigbudda, welcome to the family, Hope you like the site and find all the help you need here. With regards to your light schedule it's down to your personal preference, thats the beauty of auto's! I've seen Kannabia seeds reccomend 14-10 for some of their strains but i would say 20-4 or 18-6 are the most commonly used, some run 24-0 but i personaly like to give the ladies a rest! I've ran 20-4,19-5, and 18-6 all with similar results so far. Head over to the new growers section and holler if you need any help mate.:tiphat:

:smokebuds:Welcome !!!!!

Thanks for all the replies greatly appreciated and I am going to check out that nutrient schedule thank you for all the info blue great, think is all I need to know for now but I know where to come if I am stuck and will update pics shortly put them under 400w hps today and had a bit of a heat problem with it being an attic grow but have now sorted an intake fan and hopefully the fresh feed of cool air should sort this out and will get in there tomorrow and exhaust it straight out the roof rather than into attic space there is a medium sized fan inside pointed at the light trying to cool it above the plants as well. I have sealed the room up and left it for just now and will check it again soon to see if has helped the temp fingers crossed.

:welcome: hope you enjoy the stay. Glad to see we got the multiple thread post straightened out!

A+ 5.0 Start :check:

:peace:Happy Growing

Just got my nutrients today and started off with just canna a+b at 1.5ml per 1.5l.

I fed them throughout today, but I have just checked on them and didn't notice before I gave them the nutrients, that one of the plants is showing a couple of yellow dots I tried to get decent pictures I read somewhere this is due to calcium or magnesium deficiency and could be solved with Epsom salt is this right ?

or

Would I be best to just wait a couple days and see if it worsens ?

As I think I have started the nutrients slightly late and could sort the problem itself when it absorbs more of the nutrients. I must have just added them a day or two late as it is the plant which has been growing the fastest so more than likely ran out of the nutrients in the soil before the others and hence it is only one showing it, As the other 3 show no signs of it and they have all been fed the same all way through which up until today was half a capful of formulex every 2 to 4 days diluted with water and only other feed has been water on its own.

Any help or suggestions would appreciated guys.

Here are some pictures of the yellow spots and a little update.

Also Should I add Rhizotonic and Cannazym ?

If so how much and how will they help the plants ?

Wasn't sure so haven't used them yet but did ask guy in shop and he said I could use them but wasn't very helpful as to whether I need to or not the old sales pitch lol anyway ive got them if I need them

When is best to start adding boost and pk13/14 ?

Sorry for all the Questions but these nutes are cofusing and as far as I understand are vital to a successful crop so really want to get as right as possible first time and reduce problems and fixes to a minimum

hi there bud. epsom salts, yes, thats right. you can read alittle about it here : https://www.autoflower.org/f90/deficiency-pics-16474.html

i would have waited coupple of days to see if it fixes it self after you started feeding now. and if its only minor.

i had some spots on my leafs during my grow also, but i got them away by upping my a+b neuts. and never had to add anything extra. so check how she responds on her feeding first. my :2cents: :smokebuds:

i cant see those pics bud

edit: i started using pk 13/14 at day 50 something.. when my budspots where cleard nicely out, to phatten them upp. i used if for about 2 weeks. i got no experience with the other stuff

That's great info and help bud that's what I thought, also had a think about it and it could possibly be droplets of water that have landed on leaves by mistake and I haven't noticed and have just magnified the light burning the leave slightly as it is just the odd spot not on all leaves.

so just going to leave alone for couple of days and just build the A+B up to strength in the feed and start adding some boost soon and just leave the rhizotonic and cannazym till next grow and just try on two plants and do two my tried and tested way that way can record differences and see what is best.

Away to see my ladies before bed time

Peace Out

Have just checked on the plants and for some reason another plant showing very small yellowing on the tips is this just because they are nutrient hungry ? also noticed leaves are curling in on themselves should I raise the light to stop this happening ? or reduce the A+B and build it up in smaller doses ? its not too bad so not panicking yet but I might also reduce to 18/6 to try reduce heat as it was sitting at 93F which is too high but it was 10 mins before lights off so bulb be very hot by then but should be same heat throughout really once heated. oh I dunno lol.
