New Grower Auto duck g#1

Day 49

Can anyone id the yellowing around all the new bud sites, I'm gunna start googling but if you know let me know, its not the usual chlorosis I've had before .

Day 42
IMG_20171219_193910.jpg

The overwatering issue i had sorted itself out in a couple of days, definitely some level of adjustment required after switching on the pots but they seem to be enjoying the nutes on demand now.
I done some lst training to keep a leveler canopy, seems to have gone ok.
An moving the nutes to a more flowering oriented mix, I'm sorta following the growweedeasy schedule but with roots excelurator, silicon an cal mag with 2.?.? Nitrogen :smoking:

hey sweetie. My friend 2stoned2care is fabulous when it comes to autopots and plants.
maybe you could give him a shout? He is friendly and oh so helpful. (and grows massive plants, he is my guru~)

One afn member grew one that grew like a budsicle. It was @MissUniverse maybe she can help?
Yep, like to keep an eye on these top shelf growers, there plants look immaculate an they make it look so easy, grower talent +experience =success.
I've written off the auto duck anyhow, I'm just keeping her alive to experiment on! :eyebrows::eyebrows:

I have been away and only check here when i get mentions, it seems easy but it took me years to get to this point. I haven't really grown much in about 6 months now so im back to square one. The biggest lession i learned was to just keep trying again and again until success. Just because your plants don't look like mine to start dosent mean someday they wont... My first few plants were HORRIBLE! Absolutely atrocious! I guess I have to do some growing again myself once I get the ability, I've been helpign a friend out, so that hopefully makes it easier for those who watch closely to find out whats going on with me while im taking a back seat to things.

Remember, the bigger the space the easier it is to grow.

keep it upp, it'll be a good plant. I grew mine in promix and just the gh trio, nothing fancy no ph balancing, just well water and let it do its own thing. Sometimes people over think things.

Keep going, it might be over watering, or maybe some nitrogen toxicity, do the leaves liik like the do an upside down L at all (like the end of the fan leave is curling down).

Hey thanks for the reply yeah had typical n toxicity symptoms with the auto duck no clawing though.
Like freud said, i think all the problems stem back to early childhood
I'm sure i messed up the ph badly, retarded the roots, plant an media, if id of give a good flush an had a ph meter I'm sure things would of been some bit better.
If I'm interpreting google correctly the chlorosis on the new growth is a zinc deficiency locked out for some reason, why i don't know, ill check ph as soon as I can.
Does that sound anyway right?
Cheers for having a look

it does look like a sulphur lock out but im terrible at diagnosis.
a ph pen is the number 1 tool when things arnt going to plan in the garden.when things are going good we can pretty much avoid looking at ph.
hope things work out soon.
good luck.
:pighug:

Day 62

she's still trying bless her, she's even trying to grow little buds.
I wish i could do a little more for her seeing as she hasn't given up, I should get my finger out an try something, i don't know what though.

Brooklyn sunrise doing its thing, sure ain't as bad as the autoduck anyhow.
I'm giving bloom nutrients and cal mag, is the purple petiole a sign she wants more cal mag?
Doin a bit of defoliation under the canopy an some leaf tucking above it, I'm hesitant to remove too much although id like to thin out the underneath a bit more, don't think your supposed to though.
One last thing,
Can i ask you guys how you think she'll do, has she a few more weeks left to put some weight on them buds? the anticipations killing me the biggest buds the size of ya thumb:thumbsup:

Nothing wrong with thinning out the foliage. As a matter of fact you're going to have to do some of that up above if you really want to get the bigger buds.

I'd say you got a solid month left to go on those. You're at the stage that I would call Early flower, but that's just me. I sorta call those little button buds as they build and stack what yours are just starting to do you'll eventually see the calix's start to swell up. When that happens you'll be getting close.

If you want to thin out up on top, start with one of your larger interior fan leaves that's covering up at least two Bud sites below. Clip it off and leave a little bit of stem sticking out away from them the main stem. I don't like to injure the main stem if I can avoid it could potentially introduce some mold or something in there. Then make sure to only take one fanleaf from each Cola so you might take three or four per plant every 2 or 3 days.

Your plants will eventually stop growing vertical as they get photoinhibition from the power of your light. That could cause the buds on top to bulk up or it could cause the buds on top to get kind of fluffy. You may be able to help the fluffiness factor by getting a fan blowing across the top of those plants as they get a little bit more mature to help cool them off. If you do that since they're already experiencing heat stress up there it's a good idea to make sure your humidity is up a bit if possible.
