thread moved to the Seed Feminization section.....:smokebuds:
So then I would be better off to pollinate another plant of the same strain if Stability was the desired affect then ? They would all be autoflowering correct? Thanks for taking the time to answer my questions and I do apologize for the misplacement of the thread.when doing partial reversals you are confusing/stressing the entire plant , offspring imo wont be stable/reliable
peace
I'm not asking if i can turn part of the plant male. I know i can already, Done it before. the only part of the plant that turns male is the part that has come into contact with the silver. My question is Taking pollen from the same auto flowering plant and self pollinating it...Would it produce stable auto flowering seeds ?
self'ing and crossing... in short if you self a plant your inbreeding to the highest level, if your crossing you can be also adding hybrid vigor.
auto x auto is always auto.
auto mazar x auto blue = all auto
auto mazar (plant A) x auto mazar (plant B)= all auto but inbreed.
Auto mazar (plant A) x auto mazar (plant A)= self'ing........... NOW self'ing autos most of the time means pollinating the same plant your also reversing. Because cloning autos for selfing is not easy. So IME breed sisters or strange females when pairing the ladies.

Whether a plant is photoperiod-sensitive or autoflowering is controlled by a single gene. For a plant to be autoflowering, it must be homozygous for the autoflower allele — meaning it carries two copies of the autoflower version of the gene. If a plant has one or no copies of the autoflower allele, it will be photoperiod-sensitive instead. So, if you reverse an autoflower plant that is homozygous for the autoflower allele and self it, all the resulting seeds will also be autoflowering — because the parent only passes on autoflower alleles.Hello all, If I was to take collidal silver and a feminized auto blue mazar plant, and self pollinate it would it produce stable auto flowering seeds ?
im new here and i dunno what with this thread, since you replied here, i wanna ask you sum, but i dunno are you a real person or chat gpt, dude if you can help reply here im newbie in growing auto flowering seeds, and have some questions if you want reply i simply will created a new thread.Whether a plant is photoperiod-sensitive or autoflowering is controlled by a single gene. haha sorry foy saying things bout chat gpt dude, i wanted to ask one thing, you sound like you know a lot, so i wanted to know what do you think about topping autos? have you tried to do this technique with bred autos?lol I’m real what’s up
When it comes to topping I think it’s preference. You can definitely stress the plant out if you do it wrong, but I like topping just once about 2-3 weeks in. It helps keep the canopy spread out so it grows like a bush rather than a Christmas tree. You want this so that all the buds can reach the light more equally. I include a picture of what that looks like. You can even go up a little higher to the next node and just remove the very small new leaves and keep the big ones. Instead of this you could also use a trellis net to sort of get a similar effect. All preference try it all out!haha sorry foy saying things bout chat gpt dude, i wanted to ask one thing, you sound like you know a lot, so i wanted to know what do you think about topping autos? have you tried to do this technique with bred autos?
