Hi guys, I am basically after some advice. I am growing Dp auto mazar in soil- Arthur Bowers with John inner no.2, 400w dual spec hps, 24/0 lights, nutrients canna terra flores 5ml and biobizz topmax 4ml twice a week, 1l tapwater a day. Age wise I lost the info so will have to estimate between 8-10 weeks? Maybe even longer?
The problem is the lack of trichomes, slow bud production with the rapid yellowing of leaves. My question is am I doing something wrong with nutes? I haven't ever bothered with pH testing as I have succesfully grown glueberry og and frisian dew with the above methods. Any suggestions on improving my setup and what I can do for this plant are greatly appreciated

Need more info. Temps , RH, SIZE OF POTS, DISTANCE TO LIGHT, JUST ANYTHING TO TROUBLE SHOOT

12l pots, temp does vary as in in UK and I can't run the extraction all night due to noise but wouldn't drop below 20oC. Distance to light 14 plus inches. I did have a small amount of light burn at top on plant a few weeks ago but moved light further back. I'm not at home at the minute so I can't check humidity but the loft has the same as outside humidity which is 75-85%. Thanks for the reply, I was concerned that I was not feeding enough or too much of a certain nutrient.

Trichome production is not necessarily correlated with potency.
It's possible that it could be your most potent plant ever.

Here's a picture of a low thc, high cbd strain that is very frosty, but impotent:

I wouln't sweat lack of sugar. My gows historically have little coverage and they have all been just fine. My suspicion is my very low humidity.

:toke: Looks to me like long term underfeeding and/or imbalance of nute elements,... lack of P seems to be the worst of it though, and K,.. both will lead to poor bud:leaf ratio, lousy trich' development,... I know these strains, and they're top quality,.... mix-and-match with different nutes lines can make this problem worse, and Biobizz is very mild stuff to begin with,... typically nute lines are build around most of the line-up to ensure complete nutritional balance,.. piecemeal it, and you likely will get imbalances, pH issues, etc.,... nothing to be done with these, too late,.. for what time is left, high PK is best, but don't try to force a bunch in there now, it won't make up for the long term lack,.....

Thanks for the replies, I guess I have been giving low nutes as these are in soil with added John innes 2 and didn't want to overdo it. This is my first mazar, and I didn't take into account the longer grow period! Is there anything in addition to canna terra flores and topmax you would recommend for the next mazar that I'm starting?

As you are in the UK (like me), take a look at these for your next grow.... >>> Ferro <<< I did a review of them a while ago. Work for me!

Here is a shot of a Mazar I grew with those nutes last year (grown in tent, pic taken outdoors). She reached almost 6ft high.

Well what's your feeding like and how often. Bc nutes build up in medium so a flush never will hurt
