600w dual spec. What is the set height for a mazar? Is there a mazar standard? Please elaborate and enlighten.

not sure if there is a standard but just by looking at your photos i see no branching out and very short which makes me to believe your mazar got stunted. Not a whole lot you can do at this point to get it to its full potential, with autos once those roots reach a bottom they start to branch out, setting the height of your plant right then and there instead of gradually growing upwards. Things that can attribute stunting can be transplanting, light not close enough, and the biggest one i've seen, feeding flowering nutes too soon. you really need to feed veg nutes through week 5 from seed in my opinion to get as much vertical growth as possible. in your case, the fact that the light was far away in the beginning could have attributed to the slow growth. She could still pick up from here, maybe try some low stress training

here is my auto mazar at day 29...almost 2 feet tall here.

she stopped growing vertically around week 5. Now at day 51 she stands over 4 feet tall with a wing span of almost 3 feet. auto mazar is a known big girl. i don't have a recent pic but you can see her in my latest video update on my journal Spelsylver's Dragon Adventures

hope this helps

Looking healthy but the AM2 seems very thin at the bottom of the stem carefull it doesnt snap. Personaly i would splint just the bottom so that the rest of the plants can move with the fan blowing and still stimulate her to thicken up a bit :wiz:
Yeah I'm hoping AM1 will stabilize within the next week. AM2 although being smaller than AM1, is more stable. Thanks for splint tip

Tell you what I'll use my tea's and you use your nutes and we'll compare yields yeah? I hate to procrastinate but we'll see.

no need to compare, this isn's a competition i was just trying to offer some help since you asked me to elaborate...i've used teas in the past, they are great. My nute recipe is far better for me and my set up. better results don't lie.

You might want to top off your pots with soil for extra support, those look like some tall ladies :smokebuds:

I'm going to use a forest top soil mulch to help inoculate the soil with colonies of fungi and bacteria as well. Thanks for support tip

Competition is healthy for growers to establish differences and mean standard. You have to bare in mind that every seed is not genetically the same and neither will the genetic expressions be the same which is partly due to different environments and grower methods. You should know this.

except there's nothing to compete with here. i wans't trying to be rude just saying there really is no need for us to try and compare. like you said, different environment and grower methods, we clearly are not going to have the same results. you posted your journal, i saw what looks like to be stunting so i said so, you asked to elaborate and i dug through my journal to try to help you out.

keep doing what you are doing, your plant looks healthy enough to get buds for sure. good luck and know that i was just trying to help you out not compete. This isn't a contest.

Thanks for expressing and sharing your views and concerns regarding my mazars. No worries I knew you weren't being rude. I do appreciate the input shared amongst fellow growers. The main reason for the stunting is the distance of light for the 1st 3 weeks. I'm OCD about the light being too close to them as seedlings. I have noticed alot more side growth activity since moving the light closer on day 21. Sexed on day 24 I'm seriously looking forward to seeing them mature and fill out over the coming weeks :dance2:

why dont you pick up some kind of flourescent lighting to use for the first 2 weeks mate, you will get better internode spacing and plant structure that will take better advantage of the masses of light supplied by the 600 hps when you switch lights.
