OK so now I have indoor fungus gnats all around plants. I bought some fly traps to put around but does anyone have some suggestions or ideas to control? Can I cut out an old window screen and put over top of soil in pot? 
UPDATE DAY 13: gnats starting to appear, thinking about doing first nute feed at 1/4 strength, plant starts looking tired 2-3hrs before lights go off...leaves drop a bit but then first hour in morning when light comes on they perk up looking great all day. 20/4 lighting schedule. Thanks for everyone's help!

Finally got round to checking out your journal.. some epic info on your thread dude..
Your girl looking healthy.. shame to hear about the gnats.. im sure someone will chime in & get those off your girl.. theres always the search engine with keywords that will throw up many grows & you can read how they managed to cogtrol or eradicate the pests!

the yellow stickies worked for me, maybe some diatomaceous earth would help

Yea the gnats
- not too many, yet, just more of a nuisance right now. From what i read as they populate they will lay eggs in soil and the cycle continues. I did read up on some info about sticky pads which i got. Also attached is some info from University's i found on google. I dont think i will be putting any chemicals in but i did see the Neem oil which may work, just needs to be treated often. If it becomes an infestation i will take action until then the sticky pads should catch the stragglers. Unless some other experienced growers say other wise lol.

yeah , which reminds me my seedlings need a sticky
i dont know too much about it , you can use it as a top dressing & helps with pests in soil (gnat larvae)
