Lighting Autocob and Apollo 11 Grow

Thanks!
So the ladies seem to be loving the light :)
It really is amazing how strong these lights are! I'm getting the same lux reading with this light at the 200w Vipar at the same distance!
And on top of that, the seedlings seem to be thriving whereas the Vipar was throwing them for a loop!

This is the difference between red and blue vs full spectrum. The colors between red and blue are just as important and missing in most LED panels.

After 72hrs, I'm beginning to notice some stretch between nodes. I went and looked up the spectrum for the 1812 3500k and it seems to be in the middle the road for blue. The graph for the 1812's shows that the 4000k would be a better choice? I definitely need to do something though, because this strain already gets tall enough on it's own.

@BigSm0 , do you have any half kits ready in 5000k or 4000k? Swapping the lowers should be an easy process, correct? Disconnect the red/black wires from the COB, remove the 4 driver retaining screws and then slap on the new lower?

The stretch really is strain dependent. To counter this and still keep a good spectrum throughout the grow I wouldn't suggest swapping the cobs. Low stress training with a stretchy strain makes for numerous good tops. I would tie the tallest branch over at a 90 degree angle and leave it till another shoots up past and repeat as you need to. I don't recall a grow I have done without training as it's the most beneficial and simplest thing you can do to increase the bud production.

Lol, guess I should've added they are going under a screen. Not so much a true scrog but more for skeletal support and branch separating.

On a side note, I just finished up my C99 and Apollo 11 grow. Wasn't a huge yield considering they were in 1gal buckets and had a root rot issue.

Transplanted the ladies into their 2gal hempys today and put them in their new space. Also swapped them over to 12/12.
Going to run 2 Autocobs for the time being in the 20"x20" space.

Didn't measure the height of the Autocobs from the plants, but they are getting around 12.5k lux currently. For shits and grins, I tested the lux of the sun today during overcast and it was around 30k. I figure I'll lower the Autocobs down some till the plants are getting around 20-25k lux and see how they respond.
I also ordered some new heatsinks and 2700k Cobs. Once little budlets form, I'm going to swap over to the 2700k. Then around 2-3wks before chopping, I'll throw in a 6500k to see if it helps resin and trich production.
The space they're in now, I was able to pull 3 zips out of (7 plants in 1 gal fabric pots under 250w (true) of leds). So, it'll be interesting to see what type of results I get with these Autocobs.

So the ladies just entered their 2nd week of flowering.

I added reflectors and lowered the cobs down just a hair and it's now 30k lux at the center of the canopy and they seem to love it. Growth is great and everything is nice and green. My plan is to lower the cobs down a little at a time until they start complaining, then I'll back them off some. The cobs are 24" above the canopy right now.
I added a small fan to blow on the cobs because I like them to be cool to the touch. Not that it's needed or anything...just a personal preference.
