Depends on how big your plants are.Post a picture if you can,thanks.
Autos are much more hearty than what you might hear, in my opinion. But, cutting any plant will cause stress to the plant, "OMG someone just cut off one of my arms! There goes my other arm!" My experience though, with taking off a fan leaf, here or there, has not been an issue. But like namvet said, it depend on the size and health of the plant.
