New Grower autoflower Perpetual question

I was thinking when i get this house fixed up im working on doing a perpetual autoflower grow. Now this will be some time away but id like to start gathering parts! Would this work i already have a 400w hps w aircooled hood i was thinking another 250w mh with aircooled hood inside a 3x4 tent 440cfm fan with passive intake. and put 12 2 gallon airpots putting in 1 taking 1 every week? just using this tent and the vegging plants towards the mh side and the flowering plants closer to the flowering side! would this work? could i realistically get anywhere close to 20 grams a week? any input would be much appreciated!

thanks for the advice don..but let me ask u this that would only give me 9 weeks if im thinking right which i see most of these autos going for 75-84 days! i am trying to make sure i have enough time to get full maturity i dont want immature bud is all im saying!

just figured out how to reply to wuote lol! oh yea and i already have the 400w hps and a 600w is much higher than a 250wmh also my other dilema i only want 1 room total thats the reason for doing autoflowers! So wouldnt i need some blue light or would the hps be good all the way through!

well add 2 days to 3 weeks then most strains finish in 10 weeks few finish in 9 as well depends on strain and pheno
if your only getting 20g it better be done sub 9 weeks
a 600w would have a higher lpw so yielding more for less in the long run

you could just do a dry run with the 400w it will still work

So like pop 3 beans every 3 weeks(depending on strain), & chop 3 plants every 3 weeks :thumbs: average say 25g from each plant(should be no problem) ... 75g every 3 weeks = 25g per week :dance2:?.

I want to do this but with DWC ! 3 buckets .... pop & chop every 30 days ish (depending on strain) = 100g+ per month .... same thing but bigger & less plants !

Looks good on paper but they are unpredictable plants. I've tried this several times now but all it takes is one plant to mess it all up. I'm speaking from current experience. I have two plants in cups that are in cup-holders mounted to my tent frame because of a 70 day plant taking over 100 days. Just my

thats what scares me i want a constant supply and 20 grams a week should be enough for 4 heavy smokers and 1 very light smoker! atleast im hoping! i just want a method that has been tried and works everytime! even if i have to get the 600w i also wanna know would i yield anymore if i just grew 9 in 3 gallons or 6 in 5 gallon? what would be the best way to have plenty of meds for the designated time i thought perpetual would yield more but it looks like u would have to stick to 1 strain and i dont want that!

Yeah .Good point,even the same strain with different phenoms could mess things up a bit ,but personally Id be growing more than i would smoke to allow for variables (& maybe some curing if no probs!) & i guess i would have just be flexible & smoke a bit less until i adjust the method (maybe 1 more plant ect) & got roughly the right return ... plus i would probably pop 2 beans & pick the best 1.. Maybe pop 5 & take the best 3 ect?.
