I am a first time grower. Started off with a Sativa straight from the bag. I got lucky and she was female. Just ordered some feminized auto flowering seeds. Have no idea what light schedule to put these under what kind of new to start in with if any if anyone can help me I'd be much appreciated.

I recommend 24/0 the first 2 weeks and switch it to 20/4 for the rest of the grow. As for lights CFL's are cheap and very efficient! Make sure you get the 6500k blue spectrum bulb for the vegetative growth and 2700k red spectrum for the flowering. 100w cfl's are nice if you get enough of them... they are 23 watt equivalent which is real wattage used but lumens are the thing you want to look at! Remember you can never have too much light but you can have too much heat! If you have any other questions we're here to help! I hope this helps and good luck! Leaving a karma clou
I honestly don't even know which one works better I just picked one and am sticking with it lol
like you already see there is many right answers to the light schedule question. the heat in your room might also be a factor to make your decision. if it gets hot in there, you might concider a 18/6. just an example bud :cough: me myself are running my babies on 20/4. sry GoAuto

I am NOT going to be growinggrowing mine in soil it'll be straight hydroponics in a dwc what do you recommend on the newts???..... I would love to show you pictures of the lights and the progress of my Sativa, but I don't think they will let mobile phones put pictures up on here. Or do they????
