Hey all, I've searched and searched and searched for a system that can electrically raise my lights on demand via an app (over the internet not bluetooth) with no avail.
I was pointed at this system:

But it's bluetooth. I think I can find a way around that but had anyone used it? Can it be trusted?
Also, does anyone know where to get it in the UK?

The other thing I found was a home project by a guy on YouTube. The system looks ideal for what I'm after but I can't get hold of him to find out how? Has anyone ever made anything like this before that can help?

Interesting product. I too am curious whether any growers have used it.

Would a light mover work for you? Rather than lifting the lights when you are away move them more so one area is not getting burned? Realisticly you could make something like this with an arduino and a heat sensor or lux sensor perhaps, running a servo motor that raises the light when the sensor is over x value. Not crazy hard to do but requires a little specialized knowledge.

What I'm after really is something similar to either system. Ideally I'd like to be able to use an app via the internet to control it myself while watching through the ip cameras I have in there.
I'd love to build something custom but my knowledge of that is zero so I'd need quite some assistance.
