has anyone used them? how did they preform n whats the best grow medium for it?

Iv looked at these a few times,i work outa town quite often and iv thought this may be something to look at,interested to here what people have to say about them

This seems to be quite an under used thread. So no one is using or knows of anyone using Autopots ? The guy at my local grow shops says he's using them with the air domes, and getting great results, with the TD he's growing.

Use them and love them. Lazy man's way to grow, or for me who is not always around to look after my grow its great. Just top feed until theres a good root ball before you turn on the system.

I've got a 4pot system I used with my first TD grow under a 600hps cooltube,got 120g dry from one plant and I didn't use the airdome,I was told to top feed once as you want the roots to head south for the food

Farmer Brown i'm subd. Dman do you have a grow journal ? would love to see your results or even a couple of pics would be good. My guy said he was getting an extra third growth using the air domes, so i think i will get them for the next grow, hey and thanks guys for the quick replys. coz this thread was a ghost town for a while there Hazy

The manufacturer/supplier here in Aus doesn't do air domes. Must be a UK only thing, in fact the guy who makes them here (so I've been told) swears the idea/design was stolen by the UK manufacturer.

I wonder if just running some 4mm hose around the bottom of the pot near the drain holes and plugging it into an air pump would give similar results? Or if anyone has experimented with different kinds of aeration methods for these things. In any case my current plant seems pretty happy without them. Something to try on my next grow I guess.

Although on different forums people have such massively differing views on the domes, the consensus on one forum seems to be don't bother and on another they're great. Just a matter of suck it and see for yourself I suppose.

Just get a light soil mix and it should be fine,I used plagron light mix
