Hi guys,
I know this has probably been asked a hundred times, but wanted to ask again... As the search function for me is just to much at moment for me.... Excuse me as I'm under the influence of a dragon.

I am planning on my next setup here... Here is my dilemma... I have a 2.6 x 2.6 tent with a 400w hid (hps for now)... I was running the photos in there but had no idea how damn big an bushy they can become... Those four "small" photos quickly filled the tent up.
I than have a super led tent I was using for autos and moms/clones... I have much more room in there... I was thinking of using the super led tent as the 12/12 tent instead... I know yields will be affected on autos on a 12/12 schedule but does anyone have a guestimate by how much? If I had an auto that would've given me say an ounce under 18/6 what do you think that same yield would be on a 12/12 cycle?

I've never tried before but at a guess I would say about 19 20 grams. I look at it as 18 out of 24 is 75 percent of the day light. So if your on 12/12 it is 50 percent of the day. So 25 percent less light would suggest to me 25 percent less energy for growth and 25 percent less weight as a rough average.

How tall is your tent? auto's don't get very tall unless it's in their genetics, i personally wouldn't run anything less that 18/6 but unless it's an issue with electricity costs then that's understandable

Nah nothing to to do with electricity costs.. The smaller tent is 5' height where as the 4x4 is 6.5' tall... In going to see how long once things are running how long a clone can live in a small pot as that way while mom are in flower I can than judge what ones will be keepers.... Ahh I got time ill figure it out... If its only 25% less yield (your thinking to me sounds about right the way I see it) so I can live with that and also have the photos make up the slack in yield....

its a noticable difference but not that much from the ones ive done 12/12 and 24/0

save money with shorter hours and plant 25% more :gthumb:
