New Grower Auto's to Photo's: Airy Buds?

ummm... sativa influenced % buds=lighter airy-er...indica%= more dense buds... yes light helps...and more over good genetics is everything... But I'll take the light airy sats any day as long as they are potent.

So you are getting finished buds after the dry that are hard, dense nugs?

Yes, and I have a hell of a time getting them to stop sticking to things. I think the led has a lot to do with it, the buds come out different under floro, but still good buds. I have had airy phenos, but they still plumped up nice in the end and got sticky as hell. I've had both airy photos and airy autos and what influenced both the most was genetics and adequate light.

many years of my own results showed me

for example : the house inspector was comming by , i was given a weeks notice thank god , i tore down all three rooms (upgraded to 4 since) and put the flowering plants in my bedroom , being lazy i let them finish there with temps 100+ , this was a strain i had been growing from clones/mother plant for 3 years , it was a dense sweet smelling/tasting pheno of critical mass straight from shantibaba , so after 3 years of seeing how dense these were i finished the ones in my bedroom and boy oh boy were they airy , we all called it headache weed too because the potency flew away with the density lol

thats just one example , there have been more then id like to count

I agree with namvet. Airy nugs are usually caused by poor light penetration.

:check: Agree w/BB, too. High temps can contribute as well.

From my experience, genetics plays the biggest role, once you get past light, temp issues, etc. Some strains are just superior to others in that area.
