Ok guys and gals, this will be my first ever indoor grow and I'm really pumped that I've finally gotten started. This will also be by first ever grow journal so bear with me haha.

Here's the lowdown:

  • Grow Northern ms0006 LED
  • 22.5"x 30"x 66" cabinet
  • Homemade organic soil mix
  • 6L AirPot
  • 2 AutoWhite Widows

When I started these seeds I didn't know when I would be getting my light or grow cab. I had some seeds from when Dutch Passion had their 2 for 1 sale and I wanted a bit to smoke, so I germed a couple and got started anyway. Since I didn't have a dedicated grow space I wanted to be able to quickly move them if I needed, so I used only one pot. I put two plants in one hoping to get more smoke haha.

On August 26 the seeds were soaked in water overnight, put into damp paper towels on top of the fridge overnight and then put directly into the 6L airpot when the taproots had come out the next day. They popped up the day after that and for the first 7 days they were under fluorescent tube lights that I use to start transplants for my veggie garden. I was able to get my light much sooner than I had expected so on day 8 they went under the GN LED and they just loved it. Under the fluorescent they were on 24 hours of light. They are now on 20/4 under the GN.

My extraction fan, filter and circulation fan are on their way and I will be installing them as soon as I can. For now the doors are kept slightly open so they get enough air.

I'll either be doing some LST or trying a SCROG, we'll see how it goes.

Well, did I miss anything? Any questions?

Hey bro that's a nice setup, white aswell  if I was you I would leave your lights on 24/7 till they show sex, then drop back to 20/4. Help them veg as much as you can before they start stretching. What nutes are you using bro?

Set up looks nice and clean bro, the only thing I'd recommend is going for one of the bigger sized airpots, 15L or 20L - especially if you're growing two girls, they'll reward you for giving them room to stretch their "legs" :peace:

True bro, but these are dutch passion girls..

First time using 20L on my AWW, and boy do I notice a difference!! What nutes will you be using?

Hey guys, thanks for the feedback.

Yeah, two girls in one pot is one thing I regret doing now that I have my GN. The other is the 6L pot. I had originally planned to buy a tent to grow in and the tallest I had space for was only 1m high. This cabinet kind of fell in my lap after I had already planted two in the 6L so I was a bit stuck. In the future I'll be doing one plant in a 15L airpot.

Aha, right, nutes. Well, hold on to your hats here guys....I won't be using nutes! Well at least not any bottled nutes after my original soil mix. A few weeks ago I made my mix that included blood and bone meal, kelp, an all-around organic veggie fertilizer and a few other things. I also added myco fungi at the time of planting.

I will possibly be using some botanical teas (probably comfrey) at some point, but I haven't decided yet. My goal is to have a "just add water" mix and let workhorses of the soil, the microbeasties, do all the heavy lifting. That way the girls have whatever nutrients they need, when ever they need them.

As for the light schedule, I think I just might switch back to 24/7 and get that extra growth.

Thanks again for the feedback, it's really appreciated.

Seems like a solid plan, though I´m no pro in organics you certainly seem to have all the bases covered. You might get away with it since the pot is small, on the other hand the 2 girls might start fighting for the pie.

Check out Hazy's grows! He does 2 plants per pot and LST's them opposite directions with his cool cane method...

Oh yeah, I've seen some of Hazy's grows and I'm following that one now. His Blue Auto Mazar was awesome and the ones he's got now look to be even better.

As a matter of fact, I may actually employ his method of using the canes for tying them down. That's one of the reasons why I went with two in one pot, even if the 6L is a bit small.

We'll see how it goes with this mix. I don't have it exactly how I want it yet. There are still some other ingredients that I plan on adding for my next grow. Unfortunately I wasn't able to get them in time for this one.

Keeps us posted! :High 5:
