hi welcome to my grow journal , ive made quite a few mistakes along the way, most of which may hopefully help somebody out and save them the same headaches............please feel free to comment positive or negative this is all a big learning curve for me

rockwool cubes soaked in rhizatonic at 5.6ph
at the point in this 1st pic they were transplanted into hydro setupapprox 5days
300w x2 hps
only rhizotonic in system at min ph@ 5.8

after approx 1wk very little change but seeming happy enough , one girl went into rockwool cubes in pot

aimed for room temp 23.5c water temp approx 20c
next came the 1st mistake the humidity domes...........the temperature inside the went wey too high i think, so they came back off after a couple of days,

80ltr bubbler system with approx 25ltr reservoir
all buckets are wrapped in white plastic to help reflect light , they are also sat on carpet to keep levels low
bluelab guardian ec/ph/tds monitor
1x 8" rvk exhaust on a rhino pro filter
1x 6" rvk inlet blowing onto reservoir lid to help keep nutes cool

740ppm 5.6------5.8 ph these girls have got a serious appetite , humidity up a bit sat at 60% with the help of the bubbling bucket , ive also trialed using weighted airpipe instead of stones in the system , there is a much wider spread in the water of the oxygen, you can see one of the 90cm airpipes ................picture taken 5 weeks after heads first appeared in rockwool cubes

Looks good, you got ALOT going on in there with them lines lol, What your roots look like?

I seen others do similar setups with them lines... but why not just run it as an under current system? Connecting all the buckets with a 1 inch pvc then do a 1/2 inch return to the control bucket? I just see all these bends and wood holding up tubes.....

That had to be a real pain to get setup lol.

I will be watching this log, interested to see this.

I was donated this system from a mate , I've done one grow with same system and other than keeping nutes cool last time i used lots of frozen bottled water other than that it's worked OK , this time I insulated the pots using foam carpet underlay and it's worked a treat water temp never been above 23 , usually sits at about 21c.......next setup will likely be as you say an undercurrent , less worries about roots blocking return pipes and , much quicker to set ph from what I've been told

looks good mate just keep it simple and clean as for cooling the rez try getting a mini aquarium chiller to see how that goes but your looking good keep it up

Here's what i monitor ,i've made it viewable via cctv on my phone saves being in there all the time to watch the numbers ;) the 22.1 display box is homemade and outside the tent so I know what the temperature is , it also switches an air conditioner on and off at selectable temperatures, very handy only cost 20quid for unit and a tenner for grey junction box from diy store to make and came with 2mtr temperature probe, it also has capability to switch heater on and off at selectable temperature
