Yeah, I've used these pots for a few grows and they are great/fine when the plant matures but early in their lives they just don't dry out. The pots are 11l and it takes about 3l of water to see run off when they are dry but in early life I have to just give 500ml / 1l max. She's looking ok though, you just have to do what works for you and throw some rules out of the window. I usually start adding nutes around day 14 and work from there. Calmag from day 21.

Day 20 or 21 can't remember, so gave her 500ml of full strength nutes and calmag. Always start to see calmag issues around this age, so although she hadn't fully dried out, wanted to dose her up. The root system is obviously not mature enough yet to pull all the moisture from the pot so smaller feeds are the order of the day at the moment. She looks happy still and is praying away.

So double checked and she's on day 20. I can say she as she showed sex today. Earliest I've ever had one shoot a pistol so good sign for a quickie. Excited for a fast grow after my white 'n' bubbly looks like going 80+ days.

I do like the structure of this plant. Much more open than the others I have grown which have been much bushier. No stretch so far which should open her up even more although preflowers are popping up everywhere.

Gave her 1.5l of 1/3 strength nutes this morning. She is drying out now but still not comfortable watering to runoff.

Day 24 and the stretch has started. 10" from soil now, had to move my light higher as got the tiniest bit of light burn. Feel like she's a bit behind others I've seen on here, but hoping she'll pick up speed.

Well spoke a bit too soon on the stretch. No upwards movement in last couple of days. Starting to get a bit annoyed with her as I just can't get her to dry this pot out so feeding is a pain at the mo. Hopefully she'll start drinking a bit more soon. Wanting her to catch up with others on here.

Day 27, she's gained an inch in the last couple days and is already throwing out trichs on her fan leaves. Amazed at how much I'm liking these poundland nutes. Never going back to biobizz.

I gave her a large 2l feed of full strength grow and calmag this morning with 1/4 strength pk 13/14. Pot was light but top still wet. I think what is happening is that because I amended the top 1/4 of soil with diatomaceous earth and coffee grinds that this 1/4 is holding a lot more moisture even when the soil below is dry. If I prod through the holes in the bottom the soil is bone dry so I risked it and watered her anyway. I won't be amending the soil in this way again. Will just have to wait and see how she takes it. She is still a little short for my liking but I think that the blurple leds from the Mars hydro keeps nodes tight and slows verticals growth. Anyone have any opinions/anacdotes on this??

Day 29. This is the healthiest plant I think I have ever grown, can't believe the difference I am seeing since moving away from biobizz. Lovely green on her and flowering is setting in lovely. She's around 12" now, not too worried about height now, we'll just have to fill her up with bud. She has now been moved over into my flowering bucket which has additional side lighting and carbon filter.
