Mephisto Genetics Awolace's tandem spacebucket duogrow. Mephisto genetics only!

Was just browsing eBay and came across 2 10l airports for £12 delivered so bit the bullet and ordered them for my next grow. Was going to drop a seed this weekend but will have to wait til they arrive now. Little concerned that they are that bit taller and I'm growing in a space bucket but it should help with my early watering issues and getting those grow nutes in.

Can't actually believe it but my pots arrived this morning. Ordered at 4.30pm last night and here they are. Will try to fill them sometime this weekend.

Day 32 and she's fully drying out in about 3 days now. She's maxed out at just 12.5" which is a bit disappointing, so I've switched over to bloom nutes now to try and pack on the weight. Just backed off the strength slightly as noticed the start of a minor burn. Just that white tip that tells you you've pushed them to their limit.

So she took this mornings feed well. She might be short but she has a nice structure. Won't get much off her I reckon but looks like it will be nice. Here she is as of an hour ago.

Came home to a fair bit of yellowing of the bottom leaves. Feel I may have switched to bloom nutes too soon so I've given her another dose of grow which is high in nitrogen. Think it's 10-4-5. Topped up with Pk boost and calmag and hopefully they will green off again. She'd dried out a little more than I would have liked which wouldn't have helped.

Just gave her a plain watering and took a couple of the deficient leaves off and she gave off a right stink. Almost artificial grape juice, so pungent. She's looking good despite the yellowing, only problem is that because she is so small a lot of the lower budsites are blocked from light. I'll detrim slightly over the next week.

... she is so small a lot of the lower budsites are blocked from light.

When you have a small plant in a plastic pot with solid sides (i.e. not an airpot) an easy lighting solution is a 50 watt CFL or LED in a utility clamp light. The fixtures generally run about $10 each. You just clamp the fixture onto the side of the pot. It doesn't look real high tech, but it does the job in getting the light down low where the plant needs it. Look for clamp on fixtures that are rated for 150 watts, and that way, if you need more light you can always put a twin bulb adapter on and add another light.

Yeah I have two strips of 5630 Leds that run around the inside of my space bucket to add light to the lower areas.

Sorry. I keep forgetting that your plants are grown with the space bucket tops that contain all the lighting stuff.

So this is where the tandem part of this journal kicks in. Grape crinkle is coming up to day 40 so I have planted a deep blue c f2 seed and it has popped it's head. This is in a 10l airpot and it's the first time I've used it so not sure what to expect.
