Hey guys been a while since i was doing auto. I completely redid my area and and ready to go again with the autos!! Here is the set up:
*600w HPS/MH in XXXL magnum hood i just recently got
*2x4 flood try ebb-n-flow
*27 gallon res until i can find a nice cooler or 2
*Chiller when i get the coolers
*(18)My home-breed Purple kush northern light big bud strain.
*CO2 with rain fall (not set up yet, room not fully sealed)
*running 6" pargrow fast draining rockwool cubes

You guys are probably wondering how/why the hell i would run so many plants in a small area. Well the seeds have a low germ rate ( I got 20/25) and some of them are deformed once they start to grow( scrap them). So i should end up with around 16 or so. Holding everything goes smoothly. Here's to the next 70 days or so!!

FC sounds like you have a solid P.O.A(Plan Of Attack)what kind of line of nutrients will you be using,i would love to tag along on this ride if you don't mind

For sure man tag along. Should be a wild ride! Haha. I'm going with the full GH line flora series. I've noticed way better growth over just he Lucas formula. Here's all the girls in their cubes. They aren't drying out as fast as I expected though. image.jpeg The plants to the side are my wonder woman and bubblelicious photos that got a super crop. They were about 4' tall before I chopped them down. Lol.

Cubes are still fairly moist. Thinking of putting them on some sort of rack and then having a fan blow under them. Some are lighter but some feel very saturated still. Not really sure what to do

rockwool cubes are a pain to control when it comes to holding water i myself have not ever used rockwool i use rapid root starters myself to me it controls the amount of water it allows in but i have heard of using the fan method i think it is way better then squeezing the water out that could cause damage to the seed or seedling, you could start the fan on the lowest setting you got,be careful not to dry them out too quickly though.

I germ them in rapid rooters and there are holes for them in top of he blocks. As soon as most of them had a little root poking out I put them in the cubes. The cubes are more of an experiment and so far it doesn't look good for them. Originally I was going to go with hydroton in 9" square net pots. Oh well live and learn I guess.

The first true set of leaves have started to show and working on the 2nd set. Cubes are still wet but I spaced them out so hopefully they will get some airflow. I staked up a few that were leaning. I just use 2 1/4" line holders I used on my last grow and made a T with them. They were a little too far from the light at germ and stretched but this will work in my favor as it will allow airflow under the canopy when they are bigger. Temp and humid are in check. I did a quick once over on the plants and it looks like 2 might be pulled from the twisted leaf gene. 1 is short and not growing so it might get pulled. So possibly down to 15. Only time will tell. image.jpegimage.jpeg

you are doing a good job as far as i can see i hope the rockwool behaves like you want it , i myself have a small plant that was struggling as well .I found out that sometimes they just grow whenever they want but giving my plant major vitamins and a fungal microbes took her out of her shy/timid state now she is a wild woman on a mission not letting anything get in her way,i hope you're girls get the get the driving force they need and 15 isn't so bad i'm just starting out on my first autos so i have alot riding on her,so keep up the good work your girls will soon be start telling you what they need.

Thanks man. Yea they are starting to grow now. Some of the cubes were a little dry so I fed them all 60ml and the ones that were dry got a cup per block. About 250ml. The long stems are starting to screw me as some of the plants have fallen over. Hopefully no damage just weird growth. I've staked a few more up and put some light blockers down. I'm think that should help with root growth. We can't see through the Rockwool but I'm sure the light can sneak and bend it's way down. Going to try to get the ebb and flow going hopefully soon. They don't need it yet though.
