I had a similar mishap just happen and I'd say cut it so plant doesn't waste energy... For me it looked like it was coming back branch healed perfectly was still even growth on the injury than one day it just looked terrible and snipped it , wasted 2 weeks basicly

No, I have to agree with those that say its genetics. As you see I have a few different strains by different breeders and they all vary in sizes. @jtrain252 You've got a beautiful girl on your hands...don't worry about size, because the bigger the lady calls for deeper light penetration in order to make it worthwhile and bigger also goes longer if I am to understand correctly, so it's a glass half empty, half full situation...

So should I just snip and let time heal it or put something on the opening where I cut? Also should I adjust my feeding regime being as though she's been stressed/shocked.

I did a yoyo type support, so if you were to keep it is say go with a splint and stand it up. If not just snip her. You could cover it with something if you want I didn't . I'd say give it water.. Then juice.. Best thing to do is not confuse shock (if any) with a def.
Once in the outdoors I tripped & snapped of a nice branch.ended up chewing up some fan leaves and using that mush to keep it covered long enough for it to do its thing

Lol...yeah the things we do when in our zone!...I dropped my base nutes back down to 1/4 strength, and kept the blooming additives the same, B52 wasn't in the diet the last few changes but I added 15 ml to my res, now I wait

3 bears OG-day 28

Skyrone Stomper-Day 28...I topped both of these ladies 7 days ago, they were both approximately the same heights then, both have responded seemingly well to being topped, lots of new growth and side branching. Skyrone is the stretcher of the duo though, gotta keep my eye on her might have another big girl on my hands
