Mephisto Genetics Bad customer service

Easy guys, let's not let this turn into a beat-em-up thread either. Let his buddy create an account if he'd like and see what's up; at the very least let's try to turn someone's bad experience into a better experience.

Just to add, seedsman are good people. As are al the vendors we deal with directly,

But I will say when we send out any orders to them it's like sending out direct, just on a larger scale.
We are in effect relinquishing our control though, for example I don't personally know how seeds are stored there. The age of their freebies and the like, I don't know.

Males however.., we see 1 in 1000 on average from fem seeds. Usually 1 per year at the farm. It actually took a good few years to find the first but as we've expanded that's about the ratio... nature finds a way inevitably. Super rare all the same, but through experience, not impossible.

I will extend an olive branch and apologize on tim's behalf, I'm technically on holiday, so the boys are a man or two down, but actually not really as I've put in a full day at the farm like Tim and he's doing all the order and customer service work on the fly.
our previous customer service guy quit just last week so tim's filling the void. He's neither tech savvy or used to dealing with emails so if he was short with your friend, sorry about that.

We do, as ever have a lot on our plates but we're trying to work through it. With the least impact on anyone as possible. As in my first post though, we do need certain info to be able to clarify things.

Dear OP,

Tim's currently handling emails, I believe he asked you if you had a seedsman order number so we can verify it with those guys.

If so, we can sort seedsman out with an extra pack when they next re-order from us. And seedsman could make it right if they so choose.

Not to be blunt or harsh, but inevitably we have a lot of people trying it on to get free seeds, but any legitimate issues we'll always endeavor to find out.

Tim did not ask me for seedsman order #. He stated that I am not mephisto genetics customer and I'm pretty much out of luck, told me to deal with seedsman instead.

At no point I did not ask for a refund. I am baffled. As the seeds were bred by your company. If I have an issue with Sony or Microsoft I deal with them directly, they do not brush of their customers and say "you're not our customer go deal with Walmart" Walmart is a distrubuter, they're not in charge of quality assurance.

If Tim felt that I was in it for free seeds, I understand. But he could have been honest and said sorry you dont have enough evidence and therefore we can not provide you with seeds.

Hey man, the free seeds was just an example.
I haven't read the full conversation so I'm both reading between the lines and trying to bridge the gap at the same time. So please take some of it as me generalizing.

He should certainly have asked for your order #

I'll just say to react to your point, neither Sony nor Microsoft have live products so it's probably not a fair analogy, but anyway.

I don't have any information, strain, when purchased, what happened exactly. Details, photos, whatever you have is all useful to us.

I know there a lot of good reviews, but I just wanted to know my friend got screwed over by Mephisto Genetics.

He purchased a pack, and a few of them turned out to be males. He emailed customer support and said they can't help and that he has to speak with Seedsman (the vendor that he purchased it from)

Kind of confusing since Mephisto supplies genetics to distrubuters.

Just an FYI

With all due respect, your friend bought the seeds from Seedsman but wants to claim bad customer service from Mephisto, tell me this is a bad joke. I find @mephisto to have the best customer service I have ever experienced, in any field. I would suggest dealing direct with Mephisto in the future.

This is a non issue for these reasons:

A) Feminized seeds can go hermie if under negative grow conditions i.e. Too much heat, not enough watering, too many nutes etc - would be very hard to fault @mephisto for it.

B) Your friend didn't deal with @mephisto, he dealt with Seedsman who purchased seeds from @mephisto. Overseas seed banks aren't known to have the freshest stock on earth (TRUST ME)

The fact that they are still trying to rectify the situation when they aren't under Any obligation to do so shows what kind of company they are. There is a reason @mephisto is one of the most lauded & respected banks on earth - CUSTOMER SERVICE.
 
Cant help but chime in on this- l ordered 2 packs of 7 mephisto seeds from Seedsman and asked for my freebies to be autos which 3/4 were but they sent me 2 photos instead of 2 sour hound which were in small clip bags( no way to check they were legit) but l rang Seedsman more than once l must say but in the end they forwarded 4 sour hound as replacements- more than likely human error- shit happens mate
Moral of this story? .....erm dunno....look before you leap???? ha ha -better luck in future mate
