New Grower Bag seeds....

So I picked up a sack today and I found 2 seeds in the bag. Big ol fat seeds with pretty black stripes. I'm wondering if there's a way to tell if this was off an auto plant. I've noticed when buying auto seeds they seem to be a little smaller in size when compared to normal seeds. Is this really the only difference??

These aren't huge but they definitely have some size to them. All striped up too!!

No there no way at all to tell. Only way is to grow it.

Just found an immature seed in a bag not too long ago... Anyone know the germ rates of less than perfect seeds? How much abuse can a seed take before its fully inert and whats the longevity of properly stored seeds?

I'll probably wait for warmer weather that way I can grow it outside just in case they aren't autos.

I guess that's what I'll have to do then! :thumbs:
