Yes, it's because of transplant and stress I think, it was expected.
In final pots the seed-to-chop time should be shorter for almost a month, in theory.

It all depends on growing conditions.

Guess who's back?!? :)

Today I decided it's time to chop the remaining SCH, the small one.
The weather is pretty shitty, low temps, lots of rains and fog, so it had to be done.

I let the bushy one go for another week or two, looking really good, almost finished. Some mold and rot, but still less than on the other superautos at their harvest.
I think she can make it, there's some sun coming for the weekend, and getting warmer during night time.

This is just a short update, some pics coming tomorrow.
I found still some mold on dry buds of the SCH and Chaze, seems I left some on it when inspecting. Loss is not bad, I'll use the remains for some oil:)

Here is a nice pic of the SatiChaze, dryed and after a week curing.
Have no idea on the weight, I'll do it tomorrow.
Volume of plastic container is 4L.

Smell is mild, mostly citrus and mint, slightly soapy, grassy, fresh; really not strong but very pleasant. The smoke is so far true high, no body feeling at all, I finally found out what's like smoking sativa:smoke: I just love it!
Slow creeper, lasts for 3+ hours but you want to smoke more after just one hour:) It's so nice.

Cheers :pass:
See ya tomorrow with more pics!

Update:

today I weighted the dried harvested SatiChaze and it shows around 170g of buds:check:
The yield is better than expected at the start of this grow operation, my goal was 100-150g per plant. It will probably be around that figure, because of losses to mold of my other plants.
However, I'm very happy with this harvest, the smoke is gorgeous and very pleasant.

I managed to get some pictures, but I was in a hurry, because the rain was just starting and I still had to chop the small SCH.
Most were shaken, I managed to make a few good ones.

Bushy Chaze had some molding because of bugs and spiders, I cleaned it and let it go for another 10 days.

I took a branch and put it to dry, the smell was amazing, sweet, fruity and spicy. I like it veeery much.

And this is a small branch of the small SCH, I totally forgot to take more pics, sorry for that.

Yesterday I took a dry SCH bud to sample, but it needed a bit more drying and some curing time.
I think it might get awesome, very spicy and resinous, has a deep peppery incense taste and smell.
Sticky as hell:)

My 2013 grow project is coming to an end, so not much left to report about.
I'll update you on weights and smoke reports for each strain I grew, but not so soon. Curing should take a good month and only then I'll be able to report the details of smoking.
For now I can just say I've become a sativa lover!!!

Thank you Stitch*, I'm looking forward to grow some of your new superauto sativas:)
Got some trippy Thai, perhaps?

Stay safe, my friends:peace:

*Stitch, I can send you some hi-res photos in short time, if you need them.

Latest news:

The last plant standing was harvested today.
She was sadly exposed to very bad weather, I mean really bad, 9 days of rains, general high humidity and almost no sun.
I knew it was gonna be this way, but I decided to push her to the limit to see how she would do.
Last two days were sunny, so it dried the plant and I could finally chop her.

Last time I cleaned some rot and mold off so it wouldn't spread as much.
There was some more today, but not as much as I was expecting. Lost around 25-30%, I was almost certain it would be near 40-50% with this weather.
I heard from local growers who didn't chop too early, they lost from 40-90% of their buds, depending on luck, skill and strain.
So I think I was very lucky and I also believe this pheno has quite good mold resistance.

Like with all the superautos, with this one I managed to fill my harvest basket:)
Picture taken when trimming:

Trimming.jpg

She was a bitch to trim, so much leaves. Also many leaves are covered in resin and I had to be careful not to cut the sugary ones.
The smell was fantastic, very sour/sweet, almost exactly like Grape Mentos. Some deep lemon/pine smell was also present. I really can't wait to taste them:)

Meanwhile the SCH managed to get dry despite high humidity. Seems like the improvised dry rack does its job very well.
Just had my first test of the small SCH two hours ago, a subtle soft spicy smoke with relaxing and motivating properties, very similar in effect with SatiChaze, but different taste and smell, a bit softer.
I'm writing this post with a happy face while thinking about many other things:D:

There's also a picture of the roots, you can guess which is which.

That's it. :check:

The grow is finished, the buds are drying and curing, gotta make some quiso out of the leftover buds and trim in some time. No rush.

I'll post some final weights and smoke reports and maybe some more stuff:)

Thank you to all at AFN who followed this grow!
:karma Cloud:

Take care:peace:
